Writing music can be one of the hardest things to do, but it can also be the most rewarding. Writing music is my passion. I have developed a curriculum designed to break down the process of writing music through a theoretical, conceptual and creative approach. I believe creativity is something that can be taught. Like any type of music, it is a skill that when practiced the right way, can improve. I can teach composition of any genre of music from singer-songwriter music, to rock/pop to advanced modern jazz. Together we will work to help you write your own songs and unlock the creativity you have in you.
About Pablo
With years of teaching and gigging experience in a wide variety of musical styles, I can teach students whatever they are interested in learning. I believe the most musical improvement occurs when the student is having fun with the process of learning. My lessons are a fun and relaxed environment w

Have you hit a roadblock in your trumpet playing? Is your child not seeing progress from playing in their school band? Need help with your All-State audition? Picking up a hobby for the quarantine? Look no further!
My approach to the trumpet is one that starts with the sound of the music playing in my head. Once I can get you to hear beautiful trumpet sounds playing in your own head, you will find that playing the trumpet is as easy as blowing spit wads through a straw!
My students get a weekly dose of fundamentals that include long tones, flexibility, and articulation. Once those are in place, we can apply those skills learned to a musical etude. You can expect to cover as much material (or as little) as you want in a given week; I will pace your lessons according to your ability level and desire. But with the right amount of deliberate practice, I can help you become a truly great trumpeter.
Let's get this fired up!

I love that Helen makes sure her students understand the fundamentals of their instruments, and she spends time teaching the kids the correct way to hold the instruments and bow so they form good habits from the beginning.
Helen is patient, kind and full of positivity and praise for her students. I am thrilled to have Helen work with my children."

Blake is not only an incredible guitarist, he is the best instructor I've had. Just check out Blake's bio and listen to his music. His teaching range is incredible, music theory to amazing licks of any music and style of play "on the fly". He will design a lesson plan or you can design your own and he'll address all your questions!
I can't imagine he will have many open slots to teach after the word gets out on this site. Book something quick, you will not be disappointed!"
