I am a professional vocalist, recording artist, and vocal coach that focuses on creating a comfortable and productive environment for singers of all ages. Taking lessons with me won't promise you a future of becoming the greatest vocalist of all time, but I will be able to strengthen your musicianship and vocal arts.

I teach vocal techniques through warm-ups and exercises, as well as through a variety of styles of music including but not limited to Broadway, Classical, and Popular.

As a former teacher of voice at the University of Southern California and having worked with singers of all styles and levels including the voices from the Met, LaScala and Liturgical Services singing I can help you in finding your voice and expressing the music you feel.

I can teach you in any style of singing and all styles of music. My specialty is Classical Music, but a healthy foundation is a must for all music and for all singing. I will teach you how to warm up your voice professionally so that you will never hurt yourself. How to develop the power to be heard at the back of a large theater without blowing out the flame of a candle in front of you. I can teach you the art of circular breathing which is beneficial not only to players of wind instruments but also to singers as well. Whether you are shooting for the Hollywood Bowl or the local karaoke bar, I am here to help you reach your goals! Together we will work towards gaining a better understanding of your voice and how breathing, placement and resonance affects your tone. Topics include, but are not limited to:

- Strengthen your upper, lower and middle register with a contemporary approach
- Get a better understanding of vocal technique and how it affects your voice (breathing, placement, resonance)
- Original and/or cover material

Singing is the only instrument you are born with, and it is a whole body activity! Together, we will shape the path for your success in becoming a vocalist. I have been teaching singing for nearly 10 years, and my students have gone on to receive scholarship entry into the Chicago Music Academy, Chicago High School for the Arts, Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, and even Concordia University, in addition to receiving numerous awards at various music competitions.

In the beginning lessons, we will focus on finding your comfortable singing range, learning vocal warm-ups, and different stretches to help relax for singing. As you progress, we will learn about vowel shapes, and music reading. It is very important that every musician, no matter what instrument, has a good background in music reading! I will give my students/pupils, a realistic view of the operatic world and operatic career, though my own experience in the business, for over more than 30 years, based in a strong Bel Canto Technique.
