Would you like to be able to sing what you see on a page of printed music? Do you wish you could learn your harmony part without needing someone to plunk it out on the keyboard first? As a school music teacher I have helped many students learn to sing from notation. In the process you'll learn how to develop and protect your voice.

About Edna
Welcome to my Music Studio where you can learn the skills you need to reach your musical dreams. It's a privilege to collaborate with students pre-school through geriatrics. Together we explore the satisfying process of reaching musical goals. After earning a Bachelor of Music Education, I studied Kodaly Music Education while applying the methodology in school and studio. I've helped many students thrive, and I'd love to help you do the same. I offer over 30 years performing and teaching experience, a genuine enjoyment of people, and a high standard of professional ethics.

I love sharing my passion for music with my students. I am an active singer/songwriter/pianist and share my real life experience with my students.

About Maggie
I am a professional singer, pianist, songwriter, and recording artist. I graduated from Oklahoma City University with a Bachelors of Music, specifically piano.

Piano and voice students can expect to improve week to week. I can help any student to play/sing with freedom, confidence, and expression.

I teach piano students of all different ages and experience levels. I studied classical piano and contemporary keyboard for 20+ years. I can teach students to read music and pursue classical excellence, to learn how to play contemporary music using chord sheets, or both depending on the goals and preference of the student.

As a professional recording artist I frequently take trips to LA and Nashville for co-writing, recording, and taking meetings. I have written with well-known writers. I love to mentor students who want to become effective,
dynamic songwriters.

My personal passion is contemporary music but I firmly believe that great technique is essential to any and every style. I look forward to meeting you and helping you to become a better musician!

In my voice studio we will sharpen all of the tools relevant to the art form and have a great time doing it! We will explore vocal technique, breath support, diction, repertoire selection, stage craft, audition consultation, et al. All experience levels are welcome! I will be teaching out of my Alma Mater, the Academy of Vocal Arts, right off Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia.

About Ben
My name is Ben Wager and I'm a Philadelphia-born/raised/trained/based operatic bass-baritone currently in the midst of an international career as a soloist. I have been a guest at many of the world's major opera houses including Opera Philadelphia, The Dallas Opera, Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Los Angeles Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Den Norske Opera (Oslo, Norway), Minnesota Opera, Opera San Jose, Nashville Opera, along with my 2012 debut at Carnegie Hall. I've had the privilege of sharing the stage with many of the industry's most famous personalities and have performed over 50 named roles in seven languages.
Beginning my career in music as a bass-guitarist, I discovered classical voice while taking voice lessons myself. Along with over 15 years in the field of classical voice, I bring with me a background in pop/jazz/rock music. I
have the knowledge and experience to work with any student with any goal in mind.

I am currently teaching vocal music in North Little Rock School District. Lessons will include breathing technique and vocal fundamentals. We will pace lessons based on goals set at the beginning of your first lesson and continue creating more goals as you develop as a musician. I am willing to teach various genres of music. Cannot wait to know you and help you find your voice!

About Micah
I have been teaching music for a few years now! I enjoy music so much! I received my degree from the University of Arkansas Little Rock. I am also a member of the worship band at my church.

One thing that I enjoy the most, as a teacher, is seeing growth and seeing students get that “aha” moment. The most amazing thing about teaching is being able to see the joy in students as they perform. They get to be themselves. Playing an instrument or singing is raw, vulnerable and takes a lot of hard work.

Being a musician is worth it. You get to be able to express yourself in ways impossible otherwise.

Please let me help you along your journey to become the musician you dream to be.

I have been a professional pop singer/recording artist for the past 5-6 years. Having been classically trained, I am a huge proponent of teaching my students classical technique to strengthen their contemporary skills. If you've ever felt like you've struggled to find your "voice", or feel that a few technical issues are preventing you from reaching your full vocal potential, I can help you with that! Also, I specialize in teaching singers vocal technique for a recording studio environment. Learn how to track and edit vocals to create your own demos. This can be helpful whether you want to be able to have great recordings of your singing or if you're looking to develop your own portfolio for your career.

About Anh
I've been professional singer, songwriter and producer for the past 5-6 years. I've had musical placements on MTV Europe, BBC Radio1 and Netflix. I graduated from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami, majoring in Music Production and Songwriting with an emphasis on Contemporary Keyboard.

I am passionate in giving my students tools beyond the conventional methods of traditional music lessons. Many teachers, overemphasize virtuosity at the expense of versatility. Traditional music lessons often result in memorization, regurgitation and limit musicians to only what's "on the page." I believe in tailoring my teaching methods to fit every student's visual, auditory and kinesthetic styles of learning. I believe in building a strong technical foundation so they can break any "rule" they wish.

In addition to musical skill
s, my lessons will include the basics to learning how to record yourself and your compositions. Learning how to sing, play piano, and write music is a way to understand yourself. It can also be the foundation to a fruitful, creative career. Let me be the guide you to becoming the musician you want to be.

I used to have a truly awful singing voice. After years of traditional lessons in all different styles I finally figured out the way to go is relax, make some weird sounds, forget about judgment, and figure out where your voice fits in!

About Riley-Roy
Helloooo! Riley-Roy here! I used to be a full time touring musician, but after a few years in music conservatory at SUNY Purcahse I realized my life was much better spent teaching others. Years of formal and not so formal experience in music performance and teaching have allowed me to find my unique style of vocal and guitar coaching. I very much look forward to continuing my odd teaching journey here with you!

After waiting an inordinate amount of time for a reply, Riley-Roy seemed nice. Things changed though once I mentioned what City I was from. That's when I was told she was recently burglarized, I was sympathetic. Then I was told in order to have a lesson I had to meet her fiance first, which is just odd. After that, I was told she would not allow me in her home, I understood, having strangers in your home can be scary, but then why even offer in-home lessons?

After accommodating her, and offering my home for lessons, and then even where I work as a location space to make her feel more at ease, she seemed fine, but then she disappeared. Two days before my first class she confirmed our lesson location and time, things were great, and I was excited to start lessons.

But then time came for my lesson and she was a "No call, No show". She never messaged me, never called me. Nothing. I called Take Lesson and was informed she was "no longer able" to teach me. Why?

Things would have been different if she was just honest, if she would have let me know. If you don't want adults in your home, don't offer classes to adults in your home. Be up front. It's okay to say no.

Totally irresponsible. Totally unprofessional. Luckily I was refunded my money.

Brazilian singer, songwriter. Her most recent experiences include singing background for household names such as Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato. Millena has performed at the Macy's Fourth of July Firework event in NYC and done vocals for a wide variety of projects including a celebratory TV anniversary commercial for LATV - an American bilingual broadcast television network. Millena started singing in church at the age of 5 and since then has developed her performance and vocal skills by singing at school talent shows, competitions and several events in the US and Brazil. r at home and her chiming in with her own lyrics.

Among her experiences, Millena has also opened up for artists such as Xavier Omar and worked in the studio with several producers including KayGee from Naughty by Nature and Swagg R’Celious - one of the executive producers for H.E.R.

Early in her career, Millena won as America's Most Talented Kid on NBC's Sally Jessy Raphael show in 2001, performed for the Showtime at the Apollo and sung the national anthem at one of the biggest Brazilian festivities outside of Brazil which stretches across Sixth Avenue from 42nd Street to Central Park and is televised globally to millions of viewers.
