Are you interested in advancing your production skills and creating your own signature sound? Most beginner producers and mix engineers have great taste and the drive to create, but are lacking the guidance needed to reach their goals. I'm here to help you get there.

My name is Nissim and I'm a professional electronic and hip-hop producer who has worked with major labels like Island Records and Cinematic Music Group. I've performed my original tracks for thousands of people and performed on the same bill as artists like Jaden Smith, Mick Jenkins, and many more.

To me, the best mixes, the best productions, are the ones that accentuate the emotional character of the song. I know from experience how frustrating it is when the song coming from the speakers sounds fundamentally different from the song playing in your head.

In my lessons, you'll learn how to bridge that gap from a production and mixing standpoint and we will work together to help you achieve your unique creative

About Nissim

The primary music is make is experimental beat music, kind of like Flume or Flying Lotus. As mentioned above, I've performed in front of over 10,000 people and have produced on projects for labels like Island Records and Cinematic Music Group. Additionally, I co-run an artist incubator on Northwest

We are very lucky to have Dr. Deborah as our piano teacher for our 12 year old. She is very nice, responsible, and an phenomenal pianist herself, and demonstrates during classes which is very important for young student as they intend to imitate. Her teaching for my child includes scales, basic techniques and classical music, enhanced by daily practice with at least 15 minutes on each section. My child's piano skill has been improving under Dr. Deborah's instruction. I sometimes can not tell by listening who is playing, if it is my 12 year old, or his 17 year old pianist brother.

Are you looking for someone who is attentive to your ideas, and hope to bring you concrete tools to better your piano skills. Or maybe you have a child who'm you'd like them to discover the piano, or fall in love with piano lessons all over again? I'm telling you right now, this woman is worth your time and money!

First thing she asked me is... "What can I do for you?" with intrigue and passion, she asked more questions, working up a plan to achieve our goals, and she delivered!

She is always so enthusiastic, and never lacks patience! Her love for the piano shines through in her way of teaching. Deborah has a way of sharing her gift of music with deep gratifying acknowledgement that makes my boy feel good about himself and helps him progress rapidly every week.

I'm a mother of a gifted boy who practically taught himself how to play piano through videos and composing his own little songs. He struggles with ADHD but his piano is his outlet. Everything came to a stop once video games came in the picture. I know I wanted more for him and someone had suggested takelessons. After a week of extensive research and reading hundreds of profiles and reviews... Deborah's Profile seemed to be the best fit! My son may only be 10years old with only a year of experimenting with the piano, but with Deborah, he plays beautiful classical pieces. He's so happy and astonished at all he's accomplished in only 6 months! Even after a few lessons, he was eager to see her every week, and could see where she was leading him. He can now read music, compose more of his songs, and has better rhythm. And best of all... loves the piano more than Minecraft! (video games)

I wouldn't think twice! This is a chance of a lifetime for you or your family! I hope this review is convincing enough to help you start your endless research. She's truly the best, and all you got to do is try a lesson to find out!

We have a live concert everyday that resounds in our home and we just LOVE it.

All the best!
Julie

I am dedicated to knowing my students well, in order to give them the best experience. The curriculum that I teach my students (age 3 to adults) is a culmination of my lifelong experience and insights as a student of multiple piano programs growing up, and also my training in Berklee College of Music as a piano principle. As a highly flexible, intuitive and quick-thinking person, I am able to adjust my teachings based on what my students need AND want. After all, I'd like to make piano as a skill for everyone to enjoy, express and heal themselves - that means giving my students technical skills, a certain amount of freedom and creativity in our lessons. My goal is that my students can play famous classical pieces, and train to play the songs they love, also potentially composing their own piano pieces if they like - this will be a collaborative process between the student and the teacher.

About Joyce

Hi! I teach beginner-intermediate-advanced piano. I have experience teaching young kids, and I believe that starting music education young is beneficial. I've played the piano for 20 years now. I started training in classical piano at the tender age of three years old. Between the years 2014-2018,

"This review is in regards to Teresa teaching my 7-year-old daughter to play the ukulele, but I have to begin with my own journey as a musician. I’m a 53 year old jazz sax player who didn’t start playing until I was 33, so I never took music classes in school, meaning that most of my training and instruction came from private one-on-one lessons as opposed to group lessons. That being the case, I have had a lot of experience with music teachers, both first hand and through feedback from other music students that I’ve known, and I can tell you that great music teachers are few and far between, and I mean that sincerely. Living in Los Angeles, we’re surrounded by great players – some of the best players in the world call this city home – but just because a person is a great musician doesn’t mean they are also a great music teacher.

Being a great teacher means being able to distill the information that you have to share into a form that the student can understand and use, while at the same time keeping them motivated and excited about learning – and about practicing! It’s a rare gift and Teresa definitely has it!

About a year before meeting Teresa, my daughter tried piano for a few months, also with a private teacher. The results were ok, but her progress was slow, she wasn’t excited about it and practice was definitely a chore for her. But for the longest time she’s said that it’s her dream to one day become a rock star, so we thought maybe ukulele would be something good to try. We never really planned for her lessons to become a long-term commitment. We figured she’d learn a few chords, learn to play a couple of songs, and then kind of explore the instrument on her own to see if it ‘stuck’, thereby avoiding the ‘chore’ of having to practice on a regular schedule.

I also expected that I would have to go through several teachers before I found one that was even halfway decent. But we hit the lottery with Teresa! It was clear from the first lesson that she was a very special teacher (and person)! She’s one of those people that just glows – always positive, always in a great mood, and one of those people that it’s just a joy to be around.

She and my daughter hit it off right away. And that’s all great, but if she wasn’t a competent teacher, then ultimately it would be a waste of time and money in regards to our objective – teaching my daughter to become a musician. But Teresa is the most fantastic teacher! In addition to being able to inspire and motivate, she’s also shown the ability to translate complex info, like music theory, in such a way that a 7-year-old not only understands it, but is excited about it. She’s also been really great at being flexible in her study plan. Many of the music teachers that I’ve met, even the good ones, like to go from A to B to C, etc., following what they have determined is the best route for guiding the student on the journey to become a better musician. But sometimes you have to be able to deviate from that plan, to include additional material necessary to keep the student inspired. And again, Teresa is excellent at that! My daughter has brought several songs to her that she wanted to learn, and not only was Teresa open to teaching them to her, but she spent a considerable amount of her free time creating lead sheets for these songs so that my daughter could learn them!

I could go on singing her praises all day, but suffice it to say, my wife and I think the world of Teresa and are amazed and delighted at the progress my daughter is making with her (she’s already performed at one recital – singing and playing simultaneously, and she’ll probably be doing another one in the fall!). So if you’re looking for a music teacher, we can’t recommend her highly enough! (Note: though she teaches our daughter ukulele, I know that she teaches other instruments, as well. For sure piano, voice, drums and guitar, but I’ve seen a trumpet in her studio, so she may teach that as well!)"

Learn Bass Guitar: How to Play a Walking Bass Line in 3 Steps

Looking for a way to make your bass lines move? Bass guitar teacher Miller W. shares his three step plan to creating walking bass lines... The walking bass line is one of the most fundamental parts of American music. It is found most commonly in blues and jazz, but as you learn bass guitar, you will hear its influence in almost any style of music. A walking bass line provides a strong rhythmic and harmonic foundation by smoothly moving from each chord to the next using four quarter notes pe …
