Spiros is my guitar instructor for over a year now, I’m so happy to be learning with such an amazing Guitar master 😊.
Not only did I learn how to play, he actually thought me how to read music and work on my vocals.
I couldn’t be happier 😃.
I absolutely recommend to take him as your teacher, you will not regret it!

My daughter started a series of lessons with Kristen in preparation of her high school play audition. It was very clear that Kristen is extremely knowledgeable of all technical aspects of singing & able to clearly communicate. My daughter really enjoyed her initial lesson w/ Kristen & is confident that she will be well prepared for her school’s play auditions.

I am a professional guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer. I graduated from the Purchase College Conservatory of Music with a Bachelors in classical guitar performance. I am currently working on a Masters degree in film scoring at the Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema in Brooklyn New York.

I've been writing my own music since the age of 12. I've recorded and released several albums with different groups along the way and will continue recording and performing music as long as I live.

I've performed with bands all over New York as well as New Jersey, Boston, and Maine. I've played in original bands, cover bands, jazz combos, big bands, pit orchestras, and solo shows.

I've been teaching for 12 years and in that time have had students who came to me as beginners become professionals and teachers themselves. I've worked wit
h students on becoming better players in specifics styles such as jazz, blues, classical, and rock/pop.

Some of my biggest influences are Pat Metheny, Steve Howe, Juliam Bream, David Russel, Jeff Beck and many more.

I started with Peter when I was 13 years old and continued taking weekly lessons until I was 19. In those 7 years Peter helped take my playing from an intermediate level to a near expert level. Our weekly meetings ranged from just learning new songs, music theory, or just jamming over backing tracks we would create. Peter is knowledgable in every form of music. In our years of lessons we enjoyed playing classic rock, blues, jazz, classical, and gypsy jazz. Peter was able to walk me teach me through the beginning levels of Music Theory.

Most importantly through our 7 years together, became was able to take me from a very shy musician to someone who was very confident on stage playing at different bars. Peter went from being a teacher to a very close friend as he helped me grow. Although I do not take lessons with him anymore due to being away at college, I keep in touch with Peter every time I am home.

I would highly recommend Peter to anyone at any level guitar playing. He has the patience someone needs if you're just starting out and the expertise to help take even some of the best players to the next level.

I am a professional pianist and started taking lessons at age 4. I'm a graduate of ORU in Tulsa, OK and SUNY in Stonybrook where I received my B.S. and M.A. degrees. I'm a retired NYS Certified Elementary Teacher and taught Elementary Music K - 3 Kindergarten, and Fifth grade in both public and private schools. I was a homeschool mom of my 5 children who are now grown-up with successful careers and families of their own. I've also published 4 children's books. My passion is to inspire and help children to discover their musical gifts, talents, and purpose so they can eventually step into their destiny.

I've taught piano lessons for 25+ years and my students have always enjoyed learning as I've customized my lessons to meet each one's needs. Many of my past students are now in musical careers. My classical students are evaluated at NYS
SMA each year and get excellent evaluations. I also teach popular and church worship music. I specialize in the development of sight reading, ear training, rhythm, scales, chords, theory, dynamics, and technique. My lessons are fun and inspire creativity while developing confidence and self-esteem. I enjoy encouraging my students to take my challenge to just be themselves, and know they are already accepted and approved of. Music has also proven to be a great source of support for students with learning challenges and special needs.

Parents of children are welcome and expected to stay with students for the duration of lesson time. I will see you in my private studio. I look forward to meeting you and getting started with our musical journey together!
