I love to help anyone who has been told they're not able to play guitar, has quit out of frustration, or been told they're too old or too young to play.

*** Lesson Details ***
Each lesson is customized to your learning style and different for everyone depending on what you want to learn. Most of my students like to learn from scratch which would include the following:
In the first 3 lessons you will learn basic guitar fundamentals, basic 1-4-5 song progressions (the stuff that 85% of all music we listen to is made up of), left hand / right hand coordination, picking techniques, how to strum, mute, & play notes on the guitar.

We can play as a band too. When you are ready, I love to bring out the drum or backing tracks to your favorite artists songs while you play guitar and I play what your not, giving you the feel of a live group
situation that can make learning at your lesson more fun.

Genres include Acoustic, Blues, Country, R&B, Funk, Latin, Jazz, Rock, Pop and more.

*** Studio Equipment ***
My Line 6 Spider Jam will take any wave file and speed up or slow down the tempo and lower or higher the key to your preference.

I’m a absolute beginner and at 40 years old the thought of learning a instrument was very intimidating. Tim made my first lesson very comfortable and enjoyable. I look forward to more lessons.

I am a professional jazz/contemporary pianist from Illinois. I graduated Eastern Illinois University with a degree in jazz piano performance. I am newly married and live on the east side of Bloomington, Indiana.

I have about nine years of experience teaching private music lessons in both drums and piano. Students can expect an energetic and helpful lesson experience. They can also expect significant improvement and a newfound excitement about their instrument every week. I care deeply about my music and any students that come to me looking for improvement.

Currently, I am working to earn a masters in Jazz Studies from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. I have daily classes and rehearsals, but I have enough free time in between classes for to arrange morning and afternoon lessons.

I am passionate about all styles of music but I
am particularly excited to teach jazz and contemporary music. I find it extremely easy and enjoyable to relate to people of all ages and I believe it is extremely important and beneficial to teach each individual differently according to his or her particular personality and learning style.

I have been playing guitar since the age of 15 and I have been working as a professional musician for about 8 years.
I started performing with several bands in Italy, where I am from and teaching both privately and at music schools.

From 2014 to 2017 I worked on Cruise Ship with my acoustic duo "Voodeux" featuring the singer Sydney Ranee' and as a sideman. Here I had the opportunity to travel the world, visit amazing places and perform with many important artists and headliners.
Among many, I had the pleasure of playing with Grammy award winner "Melissa Manchester", flute player "Nestor Torres", piano virtuoso "Roggerio Tutti " and the jazz vocalist "Sweet Baby J".

At the end of 2017, I moved to Los Angeles to continue my music career as a performer and music instructor.

Currently, I play in a few bands as a session man and with my ac

I began music lessons when I was 5. My piano teacher was probably close to 80! The at the age of 10 I began violin (I had to beg)! And in junior high I learned tenor saxaphone in order to play in the school Marching and Concert bands. I sang in church choir and junior high choir. I lived and breathed music. The same has been true for me as an adult. I have performed on violin, piano and viola. Conducted many youth group orchestras, and taught students of all ages for 40 years now. My dog Beau likes music (especially the violin) so much that he sings while I play. Learning new things about music excites me.....new literature, new things about the music industry and technology and researching the composers whose ideas and beauty I love to share.
Chamber music and playing in orchestras has occupied most of my spare time for many y
ears. It is so fantastic to play so many composers works, ideas and feelings. Teaching others how to do this is my great joy. It is always a beautiful thing to share the music you are learning with others both as a part of the great community and person to person.
I do love to swim, take walks with Beau, enjoy nature and be a support to my outstanding friends, some of whom are musciains.

Take guitar lessons with a Berklee College of Music graduate! All levels welcome! I will help you reach any goal whether you want to play professionally or just want to learn your favorite song. I have a strong background in music theory and have learned both Jazz and Classical theory from some of the best professors and musicians in the world. My favorite thing as a teacher is to dissect a student's favorite song and show them the "how" and the "why" of the song. What makes it sound so good? It's so gratifying to see a student use a concept that I've explained to them from their favorite song and reuse it in their own way to make their own music. I can't wait to work with you and watch you flourish as a musician!
