I do not teach guitar for readers or cover artists. If you want to learn how to find your own style and build on what is unique and valuable in what you play, I can help you.
I typically can't offer much to an already advanced player as they've already acquired and embedded habits I will train less experienced players to either avoid or incorporate from a creative rather than copy-cat methodology.
Students will be taught "Expressive Practicing", a technique emphasizing skills earned through inspired playing. This is a highly individualized method based on the students instinctive capabilities such as having an natural "ear". Fundamentals are taught as applied through a run-before-you-walk set of exercises and structured improvisation techniques.
I can't wait to work with you! I am passionate about the subjects I teach, and find nothing can compare to seeing a student "get it", so they may too enjoy the passion that comes from learning and doing something they love. Everything I teach I've learned most completely by doing as a Profession
Thanks again for your time and info yesterday. I will email you soon, and we will figure out when we should meet for our next class.
Have a great day!

Bachelor of Music - Bassoon Performance from Sacramento State University
I am currently earning a post-baccalaureate certificate in Music Theory at University of North Carolina, Greensboro. I am especially fond of aural skills and ear training, though I am quite well-versed in college level music theory across disciplines.
Jack Fanning has been teaching the bassoon since 2015. He is currently available to teach lessons online, or at the student’s home (and is ready and willing to travel within the NC Triad area). Jack aims to make each lesson fun, enjoyable, educational, and informative. He has helped middle school a

I take a holistic approach to teaching voice. When you sing, your entire body is your instrument, which means that you have to be attuned to your whole body to produce the healthiest, most organic sound. I've been teaching for 13 years, and in that time I've leaned lots of different methodologies. I use a combination of knowledge from my classical training in conjunction with yoga, mindfulness and real world experience to give my students the best path forward in their musical journey. Whether you're just starting out or already a working professional, with my guidance and teaching you'll be making healthier and freer sounds.
Hi, my name is Gitana! I received my degree in Music Education with an emphasis in Voice from Midwestern State University in 2011. I was first trained in classical music and prepared for a career in opera. But as life tends to do, things changed and I've been working in musical theatre for the l

Thanks Timothy! :-)"
His knowledge to teach a simple approach in the theory of music, his patience, and ability to instruct in a way that makes sense, made learning exciting for me.
Highly recommend him to anyone who is interested in going beyond what they think they're capable of in a caring one on one environment. :)"
