My goal as an instructor is to keep the lessons fresh, fun, interesting, and to ultimately guide the students to better teach themselves as they gain experience and familiarity with the instrument and music. Students can have their lessons catered to the music and styles they wish to pursue. Lessons are tailored to each individual student so that we can build upon their strengths and focus on lessons to improve weaker areas. Students will learn how to build dexterity, use proper technique, and be creative. Every student has different goals, some really want to learn theory and read music. Others may simply want to learn to strum a few chords. Whatever the goal, I can provide the instructions to help the student succeed!

Teaching students how to play with bands and read music are both important. I've played over 27 years and taught over 17 of those years. Grooves, coordination, reading and soloing are all aspects of what I teach from mostly my own books. I combine having fun with the commitment of practicing into a well rounded learning experience. I have recitals for students to show off their talents 1-2 times yearly. I'm versatile in teaching new drummers or advanced students. I look forward to our lessons.

About Danny

I've played drums about 30 years and taught lessons about 20 of those years. Each student is different and I've evolved my lessons to accommodate teaching each student. My background consists of all styles of Drumset, marching band, rock bands, soloing and Troopers drum corps. Also playing in jazz,

Karrie is a very talented pianist with the ability to be so patient and kind when working with someone like me, a beginner who gets frustrated easily. She takes extra time to really understand and puts forth the effort to build a strong teacher/student relationship. I would gladly recommend her to anyone wanting to learn to play the piano!

Hello! My name is Halle Fischer and I am currently a college student at University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. I have five years of classical vocal lessons along with lots of musical theater and performance experience. While I am in no ways a professional, I would love to be able to share my experience and talents and spread the joys of music through low intensity sessions to improve vocal range and tone while learning new ways to maintain vocal health.

About Halle

Hello! I am currently a student at University of Wisconsin Eau Claire and am excited to teach some of the lessons I've learned over the past 5 years of taking classical vocal lessons and participating in quite a bit of musical theater shows and camps. My hourly pay is a bit lower than most as I am

By the time I was in middle school, I was writing music for the piano and violin. Ohio State expanded my horizons, as professors gave me assignments to write for other instruments in different and more modern styles. At the same time, I developed my interest in pop/rock music and devoted time to songwriting. Whether you want to write a string quartet or a rock anthem, I can help you. My goal is to have you discover your own compositional style rather than mimic mine.

"Tim's an amazing harmonica player and instructor. This is not a very common combination as many of the best practitioners of a given art often don't have a clue how to communicate to others what they do. Tim is one of the exceptions. He has a codified approach of teaching the instrument (including a successful textbook), and helps the students systematically learn all the techniques and theory necessary to enjoy this deceptively simple instrument. Once armed with the fundamental building blocks, Tim's students are invited to explore and expand their musical experience through developing their blues and rock-and-roll solo abilities as well as band/backing skills."

3 Big Benefits You Get From Taking Ukulele Lessons

Think you can teach yourself to play ukulele? Music teacher Willy M. shares three reasons why it's important to take lessons and learn about your uke with an expert... A lot of people take a vacation to Hawaii or Florida or somewhere tropical and pick up a starter ukulele as a memento of their trip. They get home to Debuke, Montana, or Bangor, Maine or some other cold place where the people have never heard of a ukulele, and decide to start to learn how to play to remind themselves of t …
