My stepson has had two lessons thus far and his feedback regarding Joe is all positive. He said Joe is laid back and he likes Joe's teaching style.

Joe is great instructor and a great bass player. He brings a lot of experience and wisdom to his lessons. you can learn music theory from and music instructor but Joe can teach all of that and the techniques that are specific to the bass. If you truly want to learn the bass, then look no further than Joe.

Joe is easily relatable and thoroughly knowledgeable of the instrument. His instructions are clear and he's more than willing to clarify when they may not be. I think he and I are going to get along famously once we can get Skype to work!

About Tyler
A lifelong student of music, I took up guitar at a young age. While studying Business during my first few years at the University of Toledo, I played all throughout NW Ohio with psychedelic rock group, Indigo. These experiences with music lead me to the UT Jazz program which I joined and eventually earned a Bachelor of Music (Jazz Performance) in 2015. I now play solo and with groups The M.A.R.S. Quartet, Dragon Wagon, The Sugar Snaps, and Tyler Aukerman Trio at many different venues throughout Ohio and Michigan. I have taught guitar lessons privately since 2010. I am also an endorsed artist t
hrough GHS strings and Rocktron electronics. I am always looking for new students of any and all skill levels. Playing an instrument is such a rewarding adventure regardless of whether you are trying to learn a few chords or you want to dive deep into music theory and reading music. Both are equally meaningful! I am confident that I can help you acquire a better understanding of the language of music and the guitar!
