Singing is such an incredible source of joy, and I am passionate about keeping that joy alive in our lessons. As an award-winning actress, singer, and dancer who received her BFA at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, I know my way around the industry and am excited to share my advice and experience with you. Our lessons will focus on vocal, breathing, and performance techniques. Not only will you gain control over your voice, you will learn how to act and perform your song! I promise that our lessons will be incredibly fun and rewarding.

Singing can be healthy, exciting, effortless-feeling, and cathartic all at the same time. Our one-on-one lessons link student goals with positive outcomes by developing understanding of healthy vocal habits, production, and presentation of repertoire that fits and flatters the voice. Areas of study include classical, music theatre, folk, and rock/pop.

All students will have the opportunity to perform on studio recitals.

I have been teaching voice for 10 years and use classical vocal techniques as the foundation for all singing training and styles (such as pop, jazz, and musical theatre, etc). The goal is, by focusing on proper breath support, ear training, and the exploration of your own voice, to produce a HEALTHY, rich, vibrant sound that will sustain you through a long, rewarding career.

Singing lessons will be tailored to the individual student's goals, interests, and experience levels and will involve a constant dialogue between teacher and student to guarantee satisfaction and enhance the learning experience. I teach all styles and genres and encourage voice students to take initiative when it comes to how they would like to develop as singers, whether that be in pursuit of a performance career, pure hobby, or stress relief. Each voice lesson typically adheres to the following schedule:
> Time to discuss progress and answer any questions or identify problems that came up during practice between lessons
> Warm-up and technical exercises
> Repertoire work
> Discussion of goals and objectives for the upcoming week

I am an accomplished vocal coach and songwriter and currently work with a wide variety of singers from young beginners to professionals who look to develop through ear training, singing and songwriting. In a unique way I guide people to become better performers and musicians through the combination of voice, piano and composition.
