I've taught many Piano students at a private music academy, ranging from small children to adults. For a beginner, we will focus on fundamentals, as good technique is an investment in future success. I use a well-respected Piano method book for all my students, and many of them have had great success under my instruction.

Lorna is not only an educated voice teacher, she is also a trained classical vocalist. When taking lessons with her you will learn the art and science of singing classical music. In the initial stages of lessons you will be assessed to see where you are vocally. After doing an assessment a lesson plan specific to your needs will be created. During your lessons you will learn techniques like breathing, singing with resonance(projection), diction, expanding your range and other techniques that are needed to not only sing classical music but also enhance your voice and performance skills. Come learn the art of singing opera while you enjoy taking lessons with Lorna.

She is literally helping me to find my voice.
I have been taking singing lessons with Professor Lorna for about 3 months now.
During this time period, she has not only helped me develop my voice but my singing confidence as well. Professor Lorna pushes me out of my comfort zone every class! She sees the potential in me and has helped me bring out that voice that I have been hiding. I need more practice but she define you knows what she’s doing! Even my family has noticed my singing growth with the technique Professor Lorna has taught me.
I am very happy that I found Professor Lorna. She is a woman filled with knowledge in all things of music and very talented! With much patience, practice, and continuing to take her lessons I know that she will continue to assist me in evolving my talent and helping me become that great singer I aspire to be.
I hope that I can grow under her wings and eventually master all that she’s taught me. Professor Lorna is what I’d call “The Master.”
