I use vocalizes to teach change in the voice and also different types of music to attain a better sound. I try to make it as physical as possible since so much of the effort depends on the brain. I want to help each student achieve their goal. Together we can get to that sound which is uniquely you.

About Cathryn

Hello! My name is Cathy and I have been teaching voice (singing) for over 30 years. But don't let that fool you into thinking I'm a stogy old girl who doesn't have a pulse on contemporary music. I teach pop, country, broadway, folk, whatever it is your interested in. I do teach with vocal exerc

Experienced teacher of 20+ years, specializing in the beginner/intermediate piano and voice students! All ages welcome. Lessons are customized and catered to the needs/goals of each student. Not only will you be singing songs in no time, but you will be building a strong foundation of note reading, music theory, ear training, sight reading, technique, and more. Let's get started!

For beginners, I highly recommend starting with a 30-minute lesson. Intermediate and advanced should consider 45-minute lessons. 60-min lessons are available but are only recommended on a case-by-case basis. Please take into consideration your student's current skill level when deciding on the lesson length.

About Melissa

I have been playing guitar (self taught) for about 25 years, just not very well. I was looking for a teacher that could help me fill in the music theory gaps. As well as help me formulate a meaningful practice plan that will get me over my hump. I gotta say Scott has hit the nail on the head every lesson. He first listened.. and as a result has delivered an eye opening and inspiring lesson every time. I highly recommend Scott for guitarists of all levels. He knows his STUFF!! Better yet, he knows how pull what YOU need from what he knows and deliver it effectively.

"My son does hybrid in person and online lessons with Darren. Darren is very enthusiastic, encouraging and articulate. After every lesson, my son is energized. For the first time, he advanced to state level after intensive lessons with Darren. Darren also teaches HOW to practice and clearly points out what he needs to do so my son can focus his practice. Highly recommend him."

"I love music and especially singing, but I never knew how to sing correctly. Stephen has taught me how to use my voice, and sing properly to a tune. He is very proactive and has a really good ear, so don't expect him to not hear when you are making a mistake or improperly using your voice on a particular note. I have confidently began to sing songs I thought I would not sing, and have surprised myself astoundingly. If your dream is to sing well, then this is definitely the instructor for you!"
