My singing lessons are backed by 45 years experience. My students see results in just one lesson. My kid/people skills have evolved over the years to be totally student oriented. There is no more ego involved in the teaching/coaching....been there and done that.... and I 100% especially like the way I interact with my clients.
My education includes a Masters Degree in Vocal and Choral Technique, but the most valuable information I have to offer is through success and failure, triumph and disaster in my own career as a singer/actor/director. I LOVE TO SHARE WHAT I HAVE JOYFULLY AND SOMETIMES PAINFULLY LEARNED!

About Patty

My name is Patty Parsons. After graduate school where I studied voice, classical and opera, I ran away from home and joined a rock & roll band as lead singer. After 15 fabulous years on the California west coast, appearing with such artists as Tina Turner and the Everly Brothers, I moved on to act

I love helping students discover their specific passions within music, whether it's through learning a jazz solo, learning a pop song that they love, or composing their own song. I believe each student should follow where their interests lead them, and I strive to be inclusive of these interests in my approach.

My teaching style blends the study of fundamentals with practical application, music theory, song-learning, and real world training.

I think it’s beneficial to take music lessons for a few reasons. First, it helps cultivate a love of music within the student. This provides a unique emotional outlet and a lifelong interest for the student. Second, music is a lens of life and reflects the human experience - so working on music means developing focus, discipline, respect and perseverance, all traits that extend past musical boundaries and into life.

About Luke

Hi! Thanks for considering me for music lessons. I'm a recent graduate from the Berklee Global Jazz Institute, a one-year tuition free masters program. I’m now living in the NY area. I lead my own quartet, performing my original music. I also play as a sideman in many musical situations, from big b

I have been teaching electric and acoustic guitar for 20 years and I bring a very pragmatic style designed to help students learn usable tools and get up to speed playing good sounding music. I started playing music at 5 years old on piano and currently play guitar, bass, drums, and keys. I began teaching while studying for my bachelors in Jazz and started building the system I currently use to help students develop good habits and add building blocks over successive lessons to grow efficiently towards musical goals and see real progress. I teach all musical styles and ages and have a passion for helping people achieve their musical ambitions.

About Aaron

I am a lifelong musician who has studied Jazz and Rock guitar at UNCW and Berklee in Boston. Over 20 years experience on the guitar playing, teaching and performing has taught me many valuable lessons that I am passionate about conveying to my students. Music is not just a passion for me but a way

Why do I teach piano?

Because it has been the greatest source of enjoyment, rejuvenation, and continued growth throughout my life, and I want to share that with everyone I can.

Why should you or your child take piano lessons with me?

Because I offer highly specialized lessons to each student, dependent on their needs and goals so that you too can benefit from a life filled with music. I offer lessons in many styles and supply all students with practical musical knowledge that will lead to full understanding and appreciation.

For young beginner students, students can expect to learn piano basics (note names, chords, etc.) and musical fundamentals, soon moving into learning full songs.

About Ethan

Lisa has been great at explaining some aspects of Jazz theory and improvisation that I have missed or only glossed over in the past. "My Son started with Sergio almost a year now. The music teacher in his school moved him to play with the fifth grade class, however he is a fourth grader. I received a great report about his music performance from school. Sergio is a wonderful music teacher, who is able to make the lesson full of energy and joy. I strongly recommend him for any student who wants to achieve great progress in Sax in no time."

"Jered continues to be a fantastic teacher. He took the time to get to know what my goals are, he gives me good feedback, and he assigns me "homework" that is relevant and helpful to my progress. We focus on both the technique of playing bass as well as the the purpose and "feel" of the bass in different songs. I have fun at my lessons and look forward to them every week, and my bass playing continues to improve."
