Singing and performing for an audience has been the love of my life. I have performed in all types of venues from small churches to performing Soprano soloist in Beethoven's Ninth Symphony with The Berlin Philharmonic in Berlin, Germany.

I am very good at beginning and intermediate singing, and familiar with how to work with the voice, to produce a more pleasant singing & speaking tone. One of the results of my approach to singing, is a better speaking voice as well! Your tuition includes participation in my monthlyu master class Saturday mornings. Developing better intonation or simply becoming more confident in your sound can increase the joy that singing brings. Whether it's improving your sound, increasing your repertoire, or preparing for that special audition, I would love to help you do that.

Every student is a unique person who deserves a lesson customized to their individual needs. Each of my students prospers in an atmosphere of patience and encouragement. While the lessons are fun and enjoyable, the serious student will be supported in the development of skills leading to a rewarding career. And the more casual students will grow in an appreciation of music that will always enrich their lives.

I begin each voice lesson with a warm-up to prepare the student for their session. Next, we do a series of exercises specially designed to help each individual develop their skill in a way that best fits them. We then work on a piece of their choice for the remainder of the lesson, perfecting their technique and helping them become performance ready. I teach with patience and fun because I feel that this is the key to achieving goals and inspiring a good habit of practice.

Singing lessons will be tailored to the individual student's goals, interests, and experience levels and will involve a constant dialogue between teacher and student to guarantee satisfaction and enhance the learning experience. I teach all styles and genres and encourage voice students to take initiative when it comes to how they would like to develop as singers, whether that be in pursuit of a performance career, pure hobby, or stress relief. Each voice lesson typically adheres to the following schedule:
> Time to discuss progress and answer any questions or identify problems that came up during practice between lessons
> Warm-up and technical exercises
> Repertoire work
> Discussion of goals and objectives for the upcoming week
