Everything went well until we decided to do in home classes. After we paId him upfront he canceled a couple of time then he rescheduled a virtual class where he never showed up, we texted him and 20 minutes later he sent a text letting us know he was too busy And couldn’t continue teaching my daughter. We asked for the refund which we haven’t received yet. He is a good teacher just very unprofessional. we didn’t lose that much money but he hurt my daughter since she looking forward to learn from him. I wouldn’t recommend him.

I've been teaching voice for the past 29 years and my students have gone on to audition for major competitions, as well as, universities. I've had students accepted into the Berkeley School of Music, Howard University and other prestigious universities, as well as, students who have auditioned for America's Got Talent and American Idol. I also have students who are now up and coming music artists in the music industry. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to set some goals to begin with and as time goes on you'll be able to demonstrate proficiency as a vocal performer. I specialize in Christian and classical performance, but I also have experience working with R & B and country styles. I typically use vocal method books as resources, and have the following tools available for your lessons: keyboards, mics, recording equipment and music stands. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!

About Melodie

Music has been a very important part of my life for a long time. I began taking piano lessons at age 9 and also started as a church musician that same year. Some people would say I was a very fast learner! I was, and still am, very interested in every aspect of music. I have played and performed

It was my wife’s first music lesson of any kind. She was nervous going into it but came out grinning from ear to ear. She said the lesson flew by, and lived every minute of it. Melodie did an amazing job of making her feel comfortable and bringing her out of her shell! She can’t wait for her next lesson!

Melodie is a great instructor—very patient and encouraging. She knows how to make songs simpler or more complex to meet you at your level.

Melodie was upbeat and positive with my initiation into piano! It was hard...and a bit overwhelming but left with good homework.

Singing is my specialty. As the vocalist for Sony Records band Atom Smash I toured for over 1000 shows and have found tricks to keep your voice up to par while singing aggressively. Most coaches focus on classical methods that would'nt stand up to the modern market of music. Using my methods and coaching your voice will be healthier, more stylized, and you will have the stamina to play 200 shows per year like I have. Im a passionate coach that takes my students under my wing.

Hi, I'm Sergio. I am a producer/songwriter and I teach voice and guitar in Nashville, TN. Ive been teaching voice and guitar for 7 years. I was previously on Sony Records. I'm an experienced touring lead singer/musician in an internationally recognized rock band called Atom Smash. I've had sever

I was pretty nervous for my first lesson as I had just started playing guitar about a month or two prior and was still getting the hang of strumming and singing at the same time. As soon as Sergio opened the door and we got to talking, I was immediately put at ease. He was very patient and made me feel super comfortable which was really important for me in an instructor. Since then, I've learned A TON and things that were difficult have become second nature. His knowledge of music theory (something I thought I'd never really understand) is amazing, and he did a really great job of imparting that knowledge onto me through my lessons. 10/10.

Sergio was very knowledgeable and picked up on my skill level right away and gave me some great background info and challenging exercises to work on to improve before my next lesson. He made everything super comfortable and his studio was the perfect place for a lesson.

First lesson with Sergio went great 🤟🏾 He is super cool and knowledgeable about what he is doing! Looking forward to working with him to reach my goals!

Lessons consist of learning a solid vocal technique, and learning various repertoire from Broadway, pop, to classical. Also, performing skills will be incorporated, so that the singer feels comfortable acting the song as well. I strongly believe that singers must be actors, and that is what makes us different from instrumentalists. It is also a lot of fun! For children or adults who are willing, I also teach sight singing and spend some of the lessons time learning some basic reading skills.

About Sandra

Sandra began her training at the Settlement Music School in Philadelphia. She is a two time recipient of the Mario Lanza Award, and holds a B.M. degree in opera from the Philadelphia College of Performing Arts. She studied acting at both the Wilma and Walnut Theaters in Philadelphia. In New York,

I've been seeing Sandra for 7 years and I consistently look forward to my lesson every week. I have seen myself improve tremendously in my singing, acting, and sight-reading. Sandra provides an atmosphere of serious learning in which I have been taught how to control by voice, but she is also very personable and always up for a fun chat. I couldn't have asked for a better teacher!

Fantastic teacher. I learned so much more in a short time with Sandra than I learned with all the other voice trainers I have had through the years. Her method is rewarding.

"Mr.Conran is a great voice teacher with very effective techniques to help sing better. My son, who sings really good, was not able to do a good job with his voice especially when he performs in the concerts. But, after we start the lessons with Mr.Conran, he is improving and getting better in his posture and singing!. I am blessed to find a teacher for my son to excel in his talent."

The 4-Letter Acronym All Aspiring Singers Need to Know

Want to be a better singer and performer? Vocalists have a lot to think about, both before and during a performance. Here, Baltimore, MD voice teacher DeTrece L. breaks down the basics in an easy-to-remember acronym...   Many students have asked me how I sing with so much passion and color, regardless of the genre. My answer has always been the same: Let your heart sing! Vocalists are the only musicians who do not have the option of making actual, physical contact with their inst …
