I started my musical path in a Ballet Studio. I fell in love with the crackle of the vinyl record playing as I learned to listen and dance with the rhythm. I started playing the guitar when I was in elementary and took classical lessons until I was a teenager.I really enjoy the art of practice

My goal is to have my students prepared for what ever level they wish to go with their music. Some want to play for enjoyment only and others wish to take piano/music in college.

While it's not my main instrument, i have been playing clarinet for several years including playing in the Illinois Lyric theatre production of Crazy for You on clarinet. I also play in the university of Illinois Hindsley Symphonic Band on first clarinet and in the University of Illinois Clarinet Choir. I can teach beginner level clarinet such as basic technique and embouchure as well as tone and even some jazz clarinet if the student is interested!

Daniel is a great teacher. Thanks"
Rebecca taught my daughter piano for over two years, and brought her from knowing nothing about piano to being able to read music. Her demeanor and personality were a perfect match for my daughter; calm and gentle, friendly, genuinely interested in getting to know her aside from simply teaching piano. Yet she also knows how to keep children on track throughout a lesson, as they can get easily distracted. She is wonderful with kids and knows how to get them interested in music. She is very flexible, and always worked with me to schedule make-up lessons when we missed a week. The skills my daughter learned with Rebecca have transferred nicely to my daughter's choir class in middle school, allowing her to learn her parts more easily. The only reason my daughter is no longer a student is because we moved from San Diego. I highly recommend Rebecca to anyone wishing to enroll their child in piano lessons!"
Is very patient with our son who is a drum beginner and has a great attitude toward his passion. He is a wounderful instructor, and we would highly recommend him."
