I can help the student practice and learn their way around the cello in an efficient manner. This means that I will be helping with intonation and other technique by giving exercises for the challenging passages. Lessons will be customized according to the goal of the student. Sharing my knowledge in cello and music is a passion and a goal of mine and I would love to help reach your goals.

While a bit humbling Alex definitely helped me fix some glaring technical issues, particularly with the bow.

She helped my 12 year old daughter prepare the Saint Saens Cello concerto (1st movement) for a small performance. My daughter played more spiritedly after her session with Alex. She was especially helpful for a specific bow technique.

I have taught English to Koreans back in Seoul for more than 8 years, so I know exactly how different these two languages are.

Based on this understanding of how I need to approach non-Korean speaker especially whose mother tongue is English, I am confident that I can let you start studying Korean the easiest way and make the class fun with lots of introduction of Korean cultures and history.

About Suyoun

Hello! My name is Sue and I've been teaching English to Koreans, Koreans to English speakers since 2007. From this long experience, I learned how different and opposite these 2 languages are, so I can teach my student how to learn this beautiful Korean language the most efficient way and fun. H

As an analytical person, I take a technical approach when it comes to teaching theory. My lessons will include mnemonic devices that will ensure you'll remember things for years to come. I want my students to be themselves and recognize the passion that comes from learning Music Theory.

Elizabeth is an outstanding teacher, and my daughter looks forward to her weekly lesson. "Cant speak highly enough about Adam. I felt he went above and beyond for a guitar teacher. He challenged me to perform at an open mic fairly early (I couldnt play a full song before starting lessons) and took his own time to come support me. He teaches piano too and has a great understanding of music theory. This was big for me as music theory is fascinating to me. Our lessons were very relaxed and always left me excited to get home and practice more. My interest in guitar is fairly schizophrenic and I like to change focus all the time to cover as much ground in our precious weekly hour. Adam did a great job working with my idiosyncrasies and taught me a great amount in the few months we had lessons. (I moved out of town)"
