About Neal

Engaged in private one-on-one woodwind and college-level music theory instruction and music manuscript production since 1982, including employment as an undergraduate teaching assistant and music copyist at Illinois State University from 1982 to 1985, and as a private jazz saxophone instructor, jazz clinician, and freelance musician from 1994 to the present in North Central Illinois and Eastern Iowa. The results: dozens of students routinely placed in top seats in regional, district, and state festival bands in Illinois and Iowa. Many of these students have gone on to become professional or semi-professional musicians and music educators.

About Joshua

I am a music education major at St. Ambrose University. I've studied saxophone for ten years, piano for four years, and drums for four years. In my free time, I love to compose my own music and study music theory. My lessons focus on all the fundamentals for beginning and intermediate saxophone students, such as proper breathing, posture, articulation, sight-reading, dynamics, dexterity, and expressiveness. In addition, I can teach some basic music theory.
