I am a highly motivated piano teacher with the experience of 35+ years of private lessons in my home. I enjoy teaching all ages and levels in many genres of music. Included in lessons besides learning beautiful pieces, are emphasis on technical skills, music theory, sight reading and improvising. I tailor lessons according to existing strengths and weaknesses. My students are equipped with the knowledge of how to practice at home! I record each lessons' assignments for the student to use at home to practice efficiently.

About Toni

I've studied and enjoyed piano since I was very young, having classical piano study as my musical foundation. As a student, my teacher had me participate in our area's Student Piano Proficiency Certification program up through all ten levels. Also, as a pre-teen, I started voice lessons and 'sang

She is kind, patient, and thorough in her teaching. She makes sure to explain why you use proper technique, not just telling you to do so. She helps you become a better pianist and love what you are learning. Would highly recommend for a beginner or an advance player. Started beginner level In June. Age 10.

Toni is very professional in how she conducts her lessons. She is very knowledgeable and skilled at teaching piano and shows a lot of patients and kindness. I find her very understanding and agreeable to our needs and she does an amazing job accommodating our special requirements. I find her prices to be reasonable and her scheduling to be practical.

My daughter has been taking lessons with Toni for several months now. This is her second piano teacher and the improvement we've seen from switching is just unbelievable. I love Toni's philosophy of teaching the kids to read music and all the fundamentals of basic piano chords and scales before they get into "fun music". I thought my daughter would not like it, but she loves the sense of accomplishment she feels when she can sight-read a piece of music just because of the time she has taken to work on the basics. If your child is serious about wanting to play piano, I think Toni is a fantastic choice!

My name is Ronald S. At the age of 9, I started playing the guitar for my Father's Gospel Group who is a great Gospel D.J. (Big Clyde). Through the years I have taken several guitar courses from several instructors. In the last seven months I have taken instructions from Mr. Christian, I have excelled further and have learned more than all my other adventures.

Micheal's business based environment in an open studio type classroom is a must. In Micheal's unique style of teaching you not only learn to play the guitar, but he also instructs you in song with a spirit of being well satisfied.

As shoppers pass through the store they enjoy the sounds of students playing their guitars following the guidance of Mr. Christian. This also gives his students a chance to perform in front of other people giving them a finer definitions for the art of music. If you are looking for a music instructor, one who focuses in on your difficult areas and searches for improvement to make you the best musician possible in all areas, or if you are just looking to learn and have lots of fun, then Mr. Christian is your contact. Rapid results. . .

With both Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in music, and decades-long expertise in both classical, folk & many styles inbetween, I can equip the student with excellent technique and help them avoid the many pitfalls of unskilled, self-taught guitar-performers, who, alas, comprise most of the present on- and off-line teachers. The student will learn how to hold, position and play the guitar without needless stress, hunched spine, or dysfunctional habits which can slow down a student's progress by light years.

The student's hearing is trained intensively and with it the ability to transpose music from recordings onto the fretboard, even without the aid of tablature or notated sheet music.

Finally, the student will learn, quickly and virtually painlessly, how to read and write music notation, as well as how to begin composing original pieces and songs.

One such semester will be worth more than a year of bad teaching, or of misguided self-efforts - guaranteed!

About Joseph

I promise: 1. To focus on music you love. . . 2. To teach you the technical skills to play that music 3. To leave you, after each lesson, a notch above where you were before it. 4. To be a musical friend and mentor 5. To be open to your feedback and feelings.

"Jessica started teaching my son in Feb 2014, just after he turned 5. He told me that he wanted to play an instrument and chose the violin, so we went online and found Jessica here and on the Suzuki website. Her experience and reviews really stood out and I can tell you from our personal experience that every word is true. She is the most patient, kind, fun, engaging, and positive teacher you could ask for for your child. And on top of it all, she is an excellent violinist herself who really understands music and how to explain it.

My son has come a really long way and he is very proud to be able to play the violin! He is not always the easiest to work with, (some days his favorite word is 'no'!) but she really encourages him when he gets frustrated and I know she is a big part of why he has come so far.

One of the things I love about Jessica is her ability to adapt seamlessly to the needs of her students. She is flexible and able to adjust what she does to take advantage of her students' strengths and gradually improve their weaknesses and doesn't just stick to one way of teaching. She is also incredibly accessible if you have questions or need guidance and always stays in touch, even with her busy schedule.

After a few months of my son taking lessons, we even decided to hire her for an extra half hour so that I could get formal instruction too. I am 39 and never seriously played an instrument before (1 year of elementary school clarinet, notwithstanding) yet she can go right from teaching my 5 yr old to working with me without missing a beat. I feel like she brings out the best in her students and I see concrete improvement in my own skills and understanding every week and can't believe how far I have come in only a few months with her.

So bottom line is whether you are 5 or 50 and no matter your experience level, if you are looking for a violin teacher, I highly recommend hiring Jessica immediately"

"Fawn is the amazing woman. She found an approach to my heart real quick. She examined my voice like a detective to find strong and weak sides, I loved that very much this makes you be convinced that your teacher really cares about you, what information she should give you and THE MOST IMPORTANT - HOW to give you that information, even in what doses. I was so afraid of our first session that she made me feel comfortable from the first minutes and encouraged me to win that race with myself. Thank you)"

"Dennis is a fabulous teacher! I took lessons for 2 (?) years from him in high school, entering with decent knowledge of music from other instruments but only beginner-intermediate guitar skills from self-teaching and guitar class in school (what a joke). From the very start he adjusted to my level, asking me to play something I knew and identifying the chords that I had (unknowingly) played, and creating an exercise for me to practice new chords at home. Lessons were nothing but fun and informative; Dennis is a great conversationalist and incredibly knowledgeable about music theory. His lessons are full of variety: scales (different positions and modes), progressions (written on the spot by Dennis), improvisation (with live accompaniment), transcriptions (of your favorite songs), and learning from the book. Looking back, I progressed immensely under Dennis’s tutelage, from barely playing barre chords to writing my own music in different modes! It certainly doesn’t hurt that Dennis treats his students as equals, and that his home is always welcoming. He’s invested, not the type of teacher to chase you off once your “time’s up.” If I hadn’t gone off to college, I’d still be taking lessons from him for sure! Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for enjoyable, enriching guitar lessons."
