About Molly
I have been teaching for 17 years: kids, teens-even beginner vocalists in their seventies! Rockers, an "Idol" finalist, church musicians, lapsed opera singers, preschoolers. ...these are just a few of singers I have worked with, in person, in the classroom, and ONLINE (I just love teaching singers all over the country and the world!) .

What you get in voice lessons with me: laughter as you learn! I have learned solid classical vocal technique from the very best . I have trained with respected opera singers who have performed with companies such as Lyric Opera of Chicago, as well as leaders in vocal pedagogy. I believe everyone deserves the same useful tools- no matter what it is you like to sing!

I am patient and customize each and every lesson. Need more time on ear training? No problem . How about beginning music theory? I can
help with that, too. Are you feeling more confident, and want to focus more on song polishing and getting into the heart of your songs? Let's do it! Confidence an issue? I am a pro with very shy people. I'll get you out of your shell, relaxed, and having fun right away so we can free that voice of yours! I have worked with many singers who have been diagnosed with anxiety: you're in good hands and you can trust me with your voice.

I am also a drama teacher who has worked with groups as well as individuals. I love working with beginning acting students! I'll assist with monologue prep, improvisation, voice for the stage, body awareness, and more. I love being on stage and want you to see how fun it is to jump in and let go,too!

I am a constant student in the world of theatre. I am currently taking many courses with the Drama Teacher Academy, and just received a certificate for monologue work ! Currently studying more improv and musical theatre techniques. I want my students to have as many skills as possible, no matter where their love for theatre or music takes them.

If you're interested in beginner ear training or music theory, I'd love to help you with that as well. I present it in a no-nonsense and fun manner! I'll provide you with simple worksheets to increase your confidence in learning the language of music, as well as run you through increasingly challenging patterns and sight reading for the ear training. Don't be afraid: I make it easy and customize it all. I used to be scared of theory,too- so I know what works!

I have been singing for over 20 years. Performances with the Lira Ensemble and Opera on Tap Chicago, and in master classes with international opera stars Alan Held and Lorna Haywood. Coaching with Collaborative Works Chicago and Rossini Opera Festival. Additional studies in Rock Vocals, Voice Care, Improvisational Comedy, Holistic Voice, Acting, Foreign languages, Dalcroze, Speaking Voice for Singers, , Commercial Vocal Styles/Belting with Lisa Popeil, teacher mentoring workshop with Maestro David Jones. Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. Additional workshops in Vocal Pedagogy with David Sabella-Mills, Dr. Karen Prokop, Melissa Cross (the queen of healthy scream technique!), Sheri Sanders Rock the Audition training), and Chicago Cabaret Professionals.

Certified CoreSinging Instructor- one of only a few in the U.S. trained by Meribeth Dayme, PhD, respected clinician and authority in vocal pedagogy and author of "The Singing Book".

Completed John Henny's New Science of Singing course as well as Nate Plummer's Musical Theater Coaching course. Currently taking Dr. Shannon Coates' "Vocal Instrument 101". I'm a student, too, and want to better serve my students by constant study.

My students do a variety of great things! One was a top 12 "American Idol" finalist. Current students perform in musicals, top rated choirs, and professional rock , jazz, and blues bands. Many have won awards for their singing at competitions such as NATS. Students of mine have also been accepted to prestigious performing arts high schools for both drama and music, as well as undergraduate music programs in the US and Europe.

Proud member of NATS and the Speakeasy Cooperative, a professional group of independent voice teachers.

I think if you can speak, you can sing. Everyone can and should sing! Don't let anything hold you back. I am a people person that is very passionate about music and singing, and want to be the teacher you'll trust with your voice. Come laugh and learn with me!

About Matthew
Hi, I am Matt. I am a band director in the Fort Smith, AR area. I am in my 7th year teaching band and love every minute of it. I have recently decided to return to teaching private lessons, and would love to help you with your auditions, festival music, AP music theory exams, or just learn some skills on becoming a better musician. Outside of the audition music, we continually work tone production, range, and confidence on any wind instrument. In college I had a small guitar studio as well. Some of those guitar students have gone on to study at the collegiate level and gig around town today! I have taught beginning band for 4 years now on all wind instruments including percussion. I have a firm grasp to provide solid fundamentals to start your musical journey and get you off to a great start. Feel free to ask me any questions about lesson
s.

June 2012 - June 2015 I was the head band director of Waldron High School in Waldron, AR. We won several awards through our marching and concert band program. I also ran after school lessons in which many students made our region honor band.

June 2015 - Present
I am currently the head director at Trinity Junior High in Fort Smith. I run a 7-9 band program that includes both marching and concert band seasons. Our student involvement is quite high as our band program serves about 50% of our total student population (about 90 kids served daily on all wind instruments). My band here has received many superior ratings, and many students make our region honor group, and go on to excel in high school band programs in our area.

About Kelly
I am a professional singer with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from UNC School of the Arts. I hold a significant amount of performance experience with professional opera companies like Tulsa Opera and Piedmont Opera, as well as a number of solo recital and oratorio performances.

Voice students can expect to work intimately with me on finding their core sound and building a strong vocal foundation. Each lesson will begin with in-depth vocal exercises designed to build range and tone quality, and then move into appropriate voice repertoire for their age and experience. We will work to find ease and evenness throughout the entire voice, replacing tension with intention! Clear communication and consistent work will help you release the voice you were born to flaunt!

Although my background is primarily in opera and classical voice,
I have a significant amount of experience with musical theater. I believe all performers, regardless of genre, must be classically trained to have a lifelong happy and healthy relationship with their voice. I look forward to working with you!

I would highly recommend taking lessons with Allegra! After a few months in New York, I was looking to work on my voice with someone new and I am so grateful I found Allegra. She helped me to even out my voice registers and understand how my voice works better. We also worked on a lot of audition material and after that I had new confidence in every audition room! She gave me tools and insight that I will carry with me throughout my whole career. Working with her is not only extremely helpful, but so fun! She has such a fun-loving personality and I felt like I had been studying with for years even though I had just met her.

Greetings Singers!
I'm Dana, nice to meet you.
I have over 30 years combined experience in music theory, performance, and teaching for both voice and flute. I began my musical journey with playing the flute for grade/high school bands then gravitated over to pit orchestra work. The flute is a beautiful instrument and I am grateful to play this magical woodwind!
My musical interests expanded into vocals, which has been my main focus for the past 17 years.
I enjoy performing as a featured vocalist for local tribute and cover bands, however I realized my place in music is helping other singers to recognize their own vocal potential. I absolutely love it when a new singer discovers they can sing songs they once thought were out of their reach.
Studio and Skype sessions available!

HI!

I'm Daniel Ray. I have been a musician for almost 20 years! I started playing at the Age of 7. I started on the Drumset, and at 10 I picked a Bass Guitar and at 11, the piano. The piano became my main instrument and is what I specialize in now. I am a music producer as well.

When learning from me, realize that you're going to have a lot of fun but you're going to learn what it takes to really learn and play like a professional. Remember, even the professionals are always learning and growing so the goal is to maintain a steady progression. You're going to do great if you just stay consistent, have fun, don't give up and PRACTICE. Don't be afraid to fail. Don't be afraid to mess up.

I will ensure that within 30-90 days, you see significant improvements in your playing! Schedule your lesson right away :-) !!!
