I am a professional cellist with years of performing and teaching.
I attended the Jacobs School of Music for my undergraduate and masters' degrees and was a graduate teaching assistant. I also received my Stott Pilates Teaching Certification while at IU and incorporate postural alignment into my teaching. I have Suzuki certification and work on a strong technical foundation, which both facilitates performing and frees us up to explore non-traditional techniques and other genres.
Most importantly, I strive to nurture the love and passion for music and cello and I am here to help you achieve your musical goals.
About Maria

I have been playing the piano since I was five years old. My passion for music led me to steadily progress in my studies, and I naturally chose to major in music at Ohio State. If they feel bored, I will find more challenging music for them. A great incentive to play is that I offer lessons on my ...
