Above all I want students to enjoy learning the piano. Most people start because they love a certain type of music or wish they could just sit down and enjoy playing. My goal is to make that happen. I teach all ages, beginners and intermediate levels. I think that lessons for children need alot of variety so that they can learn from games, singing, clapping, movement and playing the piano. Of course, singing, clapping, movement and playing the piano are what we all need but without the stickers at the end of your lesson!
About Nancy
Playing the piano and loving music has been at the center of my life. Aside from the happiness and fun it can bring, learning an instrument also teaches discipline and confidence which carry over into everything. I enjoy teaching both children and adults. As I teacher I am patient and encour

Ahmad is extremely talented, intelligent, and friendly and is always there to support me in whatever new musical concept I wish to learn next. He can help anyone looking to better themselves in a wide variety of areas regardless of the style of music you are interested in. I have been studying country and jazz with him primarily, as my goal is to be able to write my own music and put together a band some day. I have no intention of stopping music lessons with Ahmad as they continue to be something I look forward to every week. Anyone would be lucky to have such a great teacher."

My 10 year old grandson is learning to play an electric guitar whereas I favor the acoustic. Instead of doing 2 separate half hour lessons, Rebecca let us combine them into a single hour that we take together. Doing the lessons together makes it easy to see how Rebecca makes adjustments to each person's abilities and instrument. A number of the songs in the music book are made for 3 separate guitars, which makes it more enjoyable/interesting as each one of us (including Rebecca) take turns playing a different guitar's section at the same time.
A real down to earth individual that is both joyful and serious. I keep coming up with questions regarding music and playing the guitar. Whether its part of the lesson or not; she is always provides me with an answer that is easy to understand.
I would highly recommend Rebecca as an instructor."
