Singing lessons that bring out the best in your voice! I am happy teaching a wide reange of genres related to singing (Though my speciality as a performer is in classical music). I believe that a strong foundation in musicality and vocal health can benefit anyone, and from that I can you move towards that specific style and aesthetic they are after, while emphasizing the strengths of uour natural voice. For younger students, the focus is more on instilling a joy of music as a whole and promoting musical literacy and ear skills. I believe that even if a someone does not pursue music long term, musical exposure can benefit focus, creativity, and confidence, as well as provide a healthy dose of fun.

I hold a Master's of Music in Voice from the University of Minnesota with a strong emphasis in vocal pedgagoy and phisiology. I look forward to working with you or your child and helping guide the voice to its maximum potential

I was told when I was 6 that I couldn't sing. Since then I was afraid to open my mouth and If I would try my throat would close up. I had one 30 minute lesson with Ian Magill and I was stunned with the sound he got me to produce. I found my voice thanks to him.

Throughout my tutoring experience, I have helped all my students achieve top scores on standardized exams. I stress understanding over memorizing formulas to ensure my students can appreciate/enjoy math and apply it to any quantitative career (engineering/data analytics/research).

I recommend just starting with a single 15-minute lesson to see if we are good fits for each other and start a roadmap to progress toward your goals! My rates is for a one-off session, so it is extremely negotiable if we work together regularly.

About Bill

I have always been a self-studier my entire life. Being able to learn with just books and your brain is a crucial skill to have. However, I know not everyone (and sometimes even myself) have the discipline and motivation to keep going during hard times. Or maybe the teacher/professor is not the best

Christian Gospel:
There are so many beautiful Christian Gospel songs to learn and so many places to sing them! Have fun singing all the songs you love while learning this World Famous Vocal Technique passed down to me by mentor Dante Pavone. Have fun or become better than all the competition. With my method anyone can learn to sing or play any instrument. I can teach even the most tone deaf or someone with who thinks they absolutely no talent. You will love it!

About Karen

Hi! My name is Karen D. I’ve had the pleasure of performing, singing, writing, and recording since I was seven years old. Besides being an Honor Graduate of Berklee School of Music, I have been a lifelong student of the international world-renowned instructors Dante Pavone and Charlie Banacos.

Karen obviously loves the piano & guitar. She’s probably an excellent teacher for those instruments. Why do I say that? That’s what she talked about! She spent half my lesson trying to convince me to learn one of those instruments. Could work on listening skills! Not even sure if she owns a set of bongos herself. Didn’t start teaching me anything until last 10 min & then I had to leave early anyway. So 50 min out of 60 and about 5 I actually learned a few things I could have been practicing for at least 30 min of class. Use her if you want to learn something else other than bongos.

Ms. Karen did a pretty good job, she had ideas for the lesson and provided ideas for the next lesson. She went out of her way to help me with this new idea---------"music" and "reading music." If there was any short fall in the lesson it was on my side and my preparation failings. I have no problem recommending Ms. Karen to others. Regards, JC

Extremely knowledgeable! Karen is a superb guitar instructor. Honestly, I was struggling. Discouraged! She helped me understand my strengths and weaknesses, and moved me from beginner to intermediate in a matter of months. If you’re getting tired of learning from YouTube and smart phone apps, let Karen kick start your guitar playing. You’ll be glad you did. Thanks Karen!!

First and foremost, music should be fun! I am an experienced piano, voice, and songwriting teacher with 20 years of experience teaching and in the music industry as a whole. I'm also the author of the songwriting workbook, How To Write A Song On The Piano, published by Willis Music & Hal Leonard. Being part of the music education community is very important to me. I know how beneficial it is to each individual and that is something that can have a hugely positive impact in each of our lives. In my lessons, I create individualized lesson plans around each of my students goals and aspirations. Those plan include but are not limited to sight reading, music theory, ear training, performance techniques, mic technique, songwriting, sight singing, classical piano, pop piano, and artist development. I'm looking forward to getting to know you and help you with all your music goals!

About Allison

Allison J. is a multi-talented singer, songwriter, pianist, performer, producer, teacher, and author. Her musical journey began at the age of 7 when she began to teach herself the piano. She took that passion, talent, and determination and turned it into her own mini music empire that exists today.

"My son took piano lessons with Austin one summer. It was his first time learning to play music. Austin was very patient and taught him the fundamentals to give him a good foundation to build upon. Very quickly, they progressed to easy pieces such that there's a sense of accomplishment. Austin connects well with youngsters and his approachable style makes it easy for a successful teacher/student relationship. Austin is a genuine individual who cares about each of his students on a personal level. He's not just their teacher, but their friend."
