My Wife helps me teach in the program and is an adviser for the Female program.

Two deep leadership at all times and parents have waiting areas visible to classes. I love guitar and playing music, I think I have taught so long I would not know what to do without a music/teaching career. I have made a living playing guitar for 25 years.

*** Studio Equipment ***
I have - 4 Professional teaching studios - that are in nice locations.

I really enjoy my job and have a lot of great equipment; we work hard, but have a lot of fun too.

*** Travel Equipment ***
(1) Respectfully what is reasonable. I am a full time musician, I am flexible and happy - we can work these things out.

(We have a lot of equipment, I am very thankful). We have very good business relationships in the community.

I appreciate my job.

Michael Christian is a great guitar instructor. He helped me learn to to play guitar and apply music theory to my learning. Not only that he has a program that he has developed over the past 30 years to help students succeed and be successful musicians. I learned to play guitar and now rely on the guitar for my income. He rocks!

About Margo
Are you ready to fall in love with your voice? Do you want to have fun while doing so? If your voice isn’t becoming to you, YOU should be coming to ME! No bells, no whistles, just GUARANTEED RESULTS.

I have been the private vocal coach for multiple contestants on American Idol, America's Got Talent, The Voice and several other vocal competitions spanning over 10 countries. I also train business owners, salespeople and those who are simply terrified to present themselves in the art of public speaking.

This is NOT your average coaching session! This is for those who are ready to finally overcome the world’s #1 fear: PUBLIC PERFORMANCE.
Get ready to present yourself, business, product or service with confidence, personality and effectiveness.

My lighthearted and humorous approach to seemingly stressful situations, especially
in the public performance sector, have made me a highly sought-after coach for one-on-one and group training.

My approach is designed to train and condition the entire body as an instrument, not just the oral portion of the voice. My 5-octave vocal range makes allows me to easily instruct my students in developing their whistle register. I have been trained in (and teach) Classical, Appoggio, jazz/improv, Seth Riggs' speech-level singing and other methodologies of singing and speaking.

My method of assessing and meeting the needs of each student enables me to assist them in bringing out the very best in their capabilities. If you desire quality, effectiveness and noticeable improvement in your singing, writing, public speaking or overall performance, I am the coach for you!
Whether you are a beginner or professional, I make sure that you are comfortable and have a great time while learning. I am flexible with your needs so feel free to let me know what you want from your lessons and we can work towards your goal to your satisfaction.

Not only am I a coach, I’m a professional singer and public speaker, so I utilize and perfect my own techniques on a regular basis. I have the privilege of being a classically-trained pianist and vocalist, having studied at Sherwood Conservatory of Music, Vandercook College of Music, The Second City, University of Chicago, ETA Performing Arts Center and many other fine institutions.

Children love working with me because I make learning fun and they have a high retention rate of the techniques that I teach them. I am easygoing, funny and offer a minimalist, casual and relaxed environment for everyone. My adult students have a blast because our lessons feel more like a friendly visit with lighthearted humor.

*** Specialties ***

*** Lesson Details ***
Each lesson is tailor-made to suit the student's individual needs. Custom action plan will be given to each student on a case-by-case basis. No instruments are used in my lessons, as I train the voice to be a standalone instrument. However, if you would like to accompany yourself with a guitar, piano or percussion instrument, you are very welcome to do so.

I am available 24 hours a day for online coaching and as early as 7:00 am CST for in-person sessions.

*Please note that 15-minute sessions are ONLY available online. In-person sessions must be a minimum of 30 minutes. 31 and 61-minute sessions are ONLY for whistle register training.

Online Disclaimer:
When choosing online lessons, please make sure that your system is functioning properly, that you know how to use the platform, that you have a good internet connection and that you are logged in on time, as no concessions will be made for time used due to technical difficulties.

Timing Disclaimer:
Our time together is very valuable. If you are not on time for your session, the missed portion will not be made up at the end of the session. If I am not on time, I will make up the missed portion at the end of the session or alternate agreed-upon time. No exceptions or make-up sessions will be made for illness, weather, transportation issues (including car trouble), or any other short-notice reason. Rescheduled lessons must be made a minimum of 48 hours in advance and must be made up within the calendar week of the original lesson. If it is not made up within that week, it will still count as a paid session and cannot be made up at a later time.

Columbia Orchestra Competition, Honorable Mention
Columbia Orchestra Cello Section Member
Mid- Atlantic Symphony sub. cellist
Peabody Symphony Orchestra
Shenandoah Performing Arts Camp Concerto Competition Winner- Performing Haydn C Cello Concerto, 1st Movement

Private Teaching Experience I have been teaching for 5 years with students of all ages and levels of playing

Methods: I grew up learning the Suzuki Book Method and this is what I prefer to teach my current students which I find great for beginner cellists! Major/Minor Scales, Arpeggios, and Etudes are some of the essentials I cover in learning the cello

Musical Concepts: music theory, proper bow technique, proper left hand technique, phrasing, rhythm

Lesson Overview: Gener
ally, lessons consist of a warm up with scale-arpeggio and warm-up exercise. After a warm-up, my students' focus on a specific piece of repertoire that pin-points a certain technique . Once I think the student has progressed through and mastered a specific piece to their level, we move on to more challenging repertoire learning new technical concepts and ideas. Lessons are a great way to help you progress much faster at the cello!

About Kenneth
I am a 24 year old Kmher-American musician based in the Los Angeles area. I gig regularly around LA and Orange County in my tamborazo Aguila y Serpiente, and have also performed and recorded professionally as an independent musician. I studied trumpet at CSU Fullerton where I played in just about every ensemble I could. Although my main study is of the trumpet, I’ve also picked up guitar, drums, piano, and singing over the years. As well, I’ve been lucky enough to teach/mentor all kinds of musicians/performers from the beginner to the college level. I spend most of my time performing classical music, but I am also versed in jazz, rock, rap, and other styles. I’m also very proud to have spent 4 years in the Santa Clara Vanguard where I was able to experience being the elite of performance and leadership.
Music isn’t just a passion of mine
, it’s practically my life, and I enjoy discussing it and learning more about it each and every day!

Hi, my name is Jennifer. I have been play guitar for over 10 years now, and teaching it for about 2 years. I am currently attending Arizona Christian University, and pursing my B.A in Music. I've played in bands, and been involved in many different types of performances. I start with teaching my students the basic skills needed to play guitar, then I build on what music they like to learn. I will also teaching basic music theory. I like to make lessons fun and interactive, and am open to teaching any genre. Our first lesson will be at a Starbucks near my house, so we can get to know each other in a comfortable public setting. Then we will transfer the lesson to my home studio or your preferred location once we know each other a little better.

About Micah
I've first started playing guitar in 2010 thanks to the excuse of in-school lessons, but have since moved on to learning everything by ear. That allowed me to later pick up percussion, classical strings, piano, wind, vocals etc, (although I refuse to teach anything I'm not confident in). This knack for music lead me to considering teaching since it will pay far more than my current job.

To give an idea about how I do as an instructor, I'm adaptable, I can handle special needs (I have aspergers), I take a minute to understand what we are struggling with and I believe in patience as much as I do efficiency

I will not coddle and I will not demean. As a teacher, I believe that it's not my job to be your parent, but the one helping you progress as a musician. I want you to walk out of each session knowing that you've improved. Hopefully
, one day you will be able to keep learning without me!

About Brian
I started playing the drums at the very early age of four, eventually sitting in with my Dad’s band for a tune or two at age seven. In high school I began playing the drums for a church band each Wednesday and Sunday. While in high school I also participated in Marching band, Symphonic band and the Jazz band. In 2008, I received the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award. The award is given to one student in the Jazz ensemble “in recognition of outstanding achievement by an instrumentalist in the field of jazz, as demonstrated by superior musicianship, character, and individual creativity.”

I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from Hastings College in May of 2013. I was a member of the Symphonic Band, Marching Band and participated in the Hastings Symphony Orchestra on occasion. I sang and played percussion in the Men’s Choir and I was als
o first chair percussionist in the Wind Ensemble, as well as the primary drummer for the Jazz Ensemble for all five years I spent there.

When I was a senior in college I was asked to fill in for my drum instructor for a one-time gig with his Jazz quintet. That was my first paying gig and I have continued to play in various Jazz groups since. To this day, I still have a daily practice routine and I always desire to learn more. Since September of 2013, I have been composing my own tunes and arranging other’s for my bands to perform. I enjoy playing so much and I strive to continue to learn and improve as a performing artist.

In contrast to playing music, I enjoy teaching music just as much as playing. I have been teaching private and group lessons as a supplemental income for the past seven years. While in college, I was asked to instruct a high school drumline for their summer camp. After the summer camps were completed I was asked to come back and continue teaching the drumline through their marching season.
