As a trumpeter, my skills vary from technique, jazz improvisation, lead trumpet playing, to classical playing. I was a member of the Next Generation Jazz Orchestra in 2018, a jazz band consisting of musicians selected from across the United States. With this band I traveled to Japan and performed in the Monterey Jazz Festival in California. I have also toured Europe on several other occasions playing festivals such as the Montreux Jazz Festival and the Umbria Jazz Festival with the Philadelphia Jazz Orchestra. Here in the States I have played at venues such as Dizzy’s Club Coca Cola, Birdland, Chris’s Jazz Café in Philly, The Kennedy Center, and more.

About Jonny

I am a current student at William Paterson University studying jazz trumpet and music education. I have been fortunate to study with nationally and internationally acclaimed trumpeters Jeremy Pelt, Joe Mosello, and Nathan Eklund. Additionally, I have studied under the great guitarist Joseph Federic

My daughter started with Jonny when she was in the fifth grade. Jonny makes the experience of learning trumpet very enjoyable and my daughter finds him very patient and kind. There's never any pressure to master technique in a certain time frame. Jonny is a very accomplished musician and blends his knowledge from his different teachers to give his students a holistic and fun experience!

Jonny Gittings is not only a remarkable and exceptionally talented musician, he is equally skilled in his instruction. My son and daughter have taken trumpet lessons from Jonny for years and he is professional, knowledgeable, and always has a plan and a solution. No matter what may be troubling my kids with their music, their form or their instrument, Jonny always makes them feel at ease and helps them overcome any obstacle. We feel so fortunate to have learned from the best!

If you want to know how to understand music, how to understand its form and sense, how to translate music language into a clear and confident interpretation - welcome to my studio.

I am a concert pianist and a composer. Graduated from the Moscow Conservatory, DMA; Yale School Of Music, Artist Diploma. Soloist of the Moscow Philharmonic, member of the piano faculty at the Moscow Conservatory. 20+ years of a concert experience, performed at the best halls such as Carnegie Hall, Berlin Philharmonic, Grand Hall of The Moscow Conservatory, etc.

As an actively performing musician myself, I would love to share my experience not only in general teaching but also how to develop a confidence to perform on a real concert stage, with an specific information how to play with an orchestra. I have a deep knowledge and understanding of Russian music and culture, so those who are interested in such a subject - you are most welcome.

Vyacheslav is the complete music teacher. He is a deeply analytical artist and is extremely perceptive and helpful. His style is at once humanistic and disciplined - he is a master artist AND technician. He goes out of his way to help you beyond the duration of your lessons and encourages you to think and explore. Seize the opportunity to work with him if you get it. I guarantee it will be time well-spent.

Having opportunity to work with Mr. Gryaznov, who is a top class performer, is such a privilege. His tremendous experience, both as concert pianist and pedagogue, makes him quite unique. I believe that every student can benefit working with Mr Gryaznov, as he shares his knowledge, talent and advices in a such sincere way.
Having recording sessions in Gryaznoff studio was for me, equally enjoyable process. Relaxed and warm atmosphere, professional equipment, together with the brilliant Hamburg D Steinway makes this studio one of the best of its kind in the heart of New York.

"I have been taking lessons with Candida for a few months. She is the most amazing instructor I have had the privilege of knowing. Her patience and understanding to helping me learn to sing and play the piano is exemplified by the fact that English is not my first language, yet she had never given up on me, even when I felt I could not do it. Her positive attitude and supportive nature made me never want to give up. Learning something new is something everyone should strive to achieve no matter what age you are and Candida is the best instructor if singing is your passion. Thank you Candida for never giving up on me. (Review translated from the Greek to English language)."

"I couldn't be happier with Keith. He explains complicated concepts in techniques in a way that's easy to follow and implement with that day's lesson plan. He clearly lays out the origin of how certain notes and chords were developed in order to give you the full picture of what it is you're practicing.
He's very laid back and patient and a joy to work with."
