I focus lessons highlighting any genre around technique. Cultivating one's technique establishes good habits regarding things like breath, and posture, which will help maintain a singers overall vocal health. In addition to classical repertoire I have experience working with musical theater, pop, jazz, soul, and country.

About Chelsea

Chelsea is a tremendous teacher, with sympathy and patience for my absurd schedule and difficulty reading music.

I had a really great time and she explained so much to me that I wasn't really clear on.
Fiona C.
I needed last minute coaching for an upcoming audition and was feeling unprepared and frazzled. Chelsea easily knew what I needed. She made recommendations, was wonderfully engaging, and her insight and ear highlighted some important tweaks that I would have overlooked in my haste to prepare. After just one session I felt clearer, calmer, and considerably more confident. Bonus: Chelsea is incredibly kind, fun to work with and makes you feel you already know one another. Chelsea has my highest recommendation

I began my training as a classical singer in high school, and I have spent the past decade training to be the best musician and classical musician as I possibly can be. I am a firm believer that a classical technique should be the basis of any kind of vocal training, whether or not a student's goals include singing classical music, because it is the healthiest, safest and most affective way of singing. With my experience as a singer and a vocal student and my knowledge of opera and art song, I absolutely love teaching classical voice!

About Delaney

Hi! I am a conservatory trained classical singer who has been performing professionally for nine years and teaching privately for six. I'm very comfortable teaching a wide variety of genres and tailor my teaching style entirely to a student's level of experience, goals, voice type, age and musical

Lane was an amazing instructor. She is easy to talk to, and listens to the student. I learned so much during my time with her. I was very disappointed when she had to leave the school. Lane is extremely knowledgable, and makes learning fun. I hope our singing paths cross again!

I combine the styles of music that you prefer with some kind of method book for reading and theory. No purchasing of music is required. Normal lessons start with the previously assigned material, determining what we need to work on, new material, and ending with things to do at home.

Sean was a great teacher. I asked him if he knew how to teach Bollywood style Violin and even though he didn't he took the time to study it and learn just to teach me. I really appreciate that he was so open to trying so hard for his students. I think Sean is great!
Marc T.
Great first lesson. High hopes for follow lessons.

I self-taught myself guitar over 35 years ago; mostly forgotten. Sean began with establishing goals that would meet my goals. The feedback to me during the lessons was focused and delivered in a friendly manner. Progression was enhanced due to his manner and his approach to teaching. While this was the first lesson, I am looking forward to future lessons.

Every student has unique needs. Any student will succeed if the instruction is tailored to their learning processes. Since every student learns in a different fashion, it is necessary to use both traditional methodology and Suzuki methodology while teaching. Each student is placed in the program and course that best suits their learning needs. I expect my students to attend the lesson every week, complete all assignments, and listen to directions.

"I've been taking Nikita's lessons for last 3 years and not only gained guitar playing and signing skills but also greatly enjoyed each and every lesson. Nikita's ability to adjust the education with respect to your level and personal interests is just amazing: classic music and modern songs, theory and practice, even your own favorite musical compositions make the educational program. This is much more than I could imagine!
Nikita has also been teaching my son for 5+ years and the result is simply awesome!
Thanks a lot Nikita, looking forward to keep attending your classes!"

"Christine is a Godsend! Prior to working with her, I studied classical voice and opera with several instructors. Christine is by far the best teacher and wish I had met her sooner!

As an accomplished singer herself, she is able to identify challenging areas and help improve technique. I’m now attempting pieces with confidence that I never would have attempted previously. And, I find the sessions very relaxing and enjoyable. She inspired me to push myself further and feel like I’m getting great results! Well worth the investment."

"Howard is an amazing teacher. He has a love for teaching and watching his students learn and apply their new skills and is great at communicating lessons from his extensive knowledge of all things piano. I enjoyed learning from Howard so much that I would make the 60 mile one way trip to him to take classes. I now have a child and another on the way and that makes it more difficult to make such long trips on one of the fewer and fewer free days I have, but I definitely plan to come back. Howard taught me so much and I would hate to lose what I've learned (although I'm sure Howard could pull it back out of me in short order)."

"My daughter Violet loves working with Jaclyn because she's energetic and very focused on her specific progress and goals. Violet started with her a few years ago with no experience at all, and progressed quickly to reading music, playing separate hands and then hands together on the piano. She just recently had a recital where she successfully performed the most complicated two-hand piece to date, and Jaclyn was there cheering her on. Jaclyn also pays attention to related talents, and has begun teaching Violet to sing and play ukulele, which has had an energizing effect on Violet as she sees the skills overlap. It's had a very positive effect on her attitude, and she's more excited than ever about practicing, which is all a parent can ask for! : )"
