Sheralee taught my daughter recorder. My husband decided to join her. Her lessons were reasonably priced, and they both made great progress under her professional and encouraging guidance.

Both of my kids started taking lessons with Mrs. Sheralee. My son was 6 and daughter was 5 when they started. I'm so Thankful to Sheralee for instilling the love for piano. They both looked forward to their piano lessons each week. I just love Sheralee's energy, her spirit, her kindness, her patience and her method. Sheralee is amazing with children and she creates an environment that is friendly and inspiring.
Michelle
Sheralee has taught piano to both of my daughters. One has taken lessons for the past 5 years, the other for 2 years (both started when they were 6 years old). She teaches them from a variety of books each week, covering theory, finger exercises, John Schaum Piano Course, and hymns. As a Christian, Sheralee prays with them before each lesson, and inspires them to use their talent and abilities for the Lord. She does this by encouraging and preparing them to play for others (church, recitals, assisted care facilities, etc.). We have been very pleased with her kind and gentle, yet persistent manner. My daughters really like her and have truly blossomed under her direction!

I have been playing bassoon since 6th grade and have been teaching music lessons since I graduated from High School in 2003. I plan each students lesson to help meet and exceed their personal goals and expectations. All students will work on proper fingering, intonation, reading and understanding music/rhythms, breathing, and posture as well as learning to play musically- not just mechanically. I am very laid back and positive and try to set reasonable yet challenging goals for my students to meet each week.

About Nicole

I have been singing my entire life and teaching privately for 17 years. I am very passionate about private instruction, as I have personally found the most success through this method of learning music. When I am not working, I can be found singing in my church choir, playing saxophone and/or b

Jennifer is great with my high-energy seven-year-old. She's very patient and she is able to make him engage. She also takes the skills he's learned in his music class in school, and builds his skills lessons around his abilities. Finally, she gives homework in a notebook that is clear and measurable, so he knows exactly what to do on his own throughout the week.

"Supportive, fun, and SO knowledgeable

I started taking singing lessons because I wanted to pick up another hobby, and Briana has helped me do just that. She is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and supportive regardless of what your goals are. She makes the technical side of signing fun and enjoyable, something other teachers I have worked with have been unsuccessful at. Briana provides a positive and warm space to let loose in, and most importantly has reminded me that I don't always have to take myself so seriously. I highly recommend Briana to anyone who is looking for a teacher they can create a connection with, regardless of skill level because she can handle it all!"

"I worked with Natone for over a year at Taylor guitars. Every single day, as i was entering the property, I could hear Natone playing amazing pieces of music. Classical, Blues, or inspired pieces he just made up right then and there. He plays all his music with such a passion and focus that only an experience and well practiced hand could do while still being one of the humblest guys I have ever met. I started taking classical lessons from Natone a while back and at every lessson i learned something new that was vital to my growth and understanding as a guitar player, such as finger picking patterns, music theory, and songs that put his teachings into practice. He taught me how to play Bouree in E minor by Bach and Francisco Tarrega's Arabe Capricho. Natone is one the best and it was an honor and a privilige to have learned from him. Natone, wherever you are, good luck and good hunting."

How to Practice Piano When Your Hands, Back, or Arms Hurt

Should you reduce or alter your piano practice if your hands, back, or arms hurt? Here are some guidelines to follow from Rosedale, MD teacher Theresa D...   Practicing piano can be a very enjoyable experience for most people, but what if you are in pain or it is difficult for you to play? If you are learning how to play for the first time or if you just want to keep the music under your fingers, regular piano practice is important. But as you get older your body doesn’t always allo …
