Hi everyone, I hope this message finds you well! I am Junling and am a professional pianist working at Boston Conservatory at Berklee. I have been play piano for 20+ years and have a Masters degree in Piano Performance. I love performance, but I am more passionate with teaching piano.
I am experienced with teaching piano in all ages and levels. My goal is to become a better teacher by having a chance to teach students with different interests and tastes in music like Classical, Jazz, Pop, or Broadway and to help students to approach their goal in music.
I always believe that creating a good bond with my students is the most important aspect of teaching. Ever since I had my experience with the teacher that changed my life, I have always not only had a love for playing piano but also a love for teaching. I have tried my absolute best to replicate her formula to share the wonderful experience I had with my current students, and it's something I plan on doing for the rest of my life.
About Junling
To find the strength and temporary weakness on every students is the key of helping them to get close to their goals. I always gives good advices during lessons and also tailors the lessons based on the need of the students. I always believe that creating a good bond with my students is the most im

We will work from the bottom up, starting with proper breathing and warm up exercises.
Scale work and technical drills are made fun through games and other means to keep things interesting :)
Repertoire work will be chosen according to experience level after basic assessment, we can work together to find something you enjoy playing.
Basic theory and music history will be addressed naturally as we work through new pieces!
I am more than happy to work on any other music you are currently playing for school or other ensembles.
Let's have fun and work hard!

Book NowLessons will consist of a warm up and repertoire work! I am a firm believer of a strong foundation for singing, meaning creating a good breath support system, working on consistency in the voice, and doing what makes each singer comfortable. I want everyone to truly enjoy what they sing, and so choosing repertoire will be a very collaborative process! My main goal is for growth in the singer, as a person and as a musician. For more information, give me a call, shoot me an email, or even a text. I look forward to working with you!

Over the past 12 years, we've given over 3,000,000 lessons to happy customers around the world.

Alex spearheaded the forming of a Sight Reading Club and he was it's head instructor. Every week we would get together and work on our chops; very quickly I could see how valuable he was as a teacher and guitar coach. He helped me stick it out during the tough sessions and had the drive to sit patiently as I worked something out in my own time.
I would highly recommend Alex for his patience, persistence, punctuality, and (most importantly) Passion for teaching music. He is a fantastic instructor who I enthusiastically recommend to anyone looking to improve their ability to play the guitar!
Oh and BTW, he's a great blues player - just check out his videos!!!"
