You can see right away, that Jimmy is excellent with kids..and my son seems to enjoy every session with him. Jimmy's coaching technique is worth a mention as well. He makes it a point to make your basics very strong, which equips the person with enough skill to actually 'create' their own music versus simply 'copying' an existing song etc. I've been thoroughly satisfied sending my son to Jimmy for guitar sessions and the result shows. I see my son now playing quite fluently...and with confidence and will try and take a shot at making the cut for his High School's music/guitar team.
Also, looking at some of the other music instruments displayed in his studio, does seem Jimmy's a very talented musician, well versed in several areas.
Finally, Jimmy's studio is one nice n cozy place, where parents can do office work, sit and stretch out, watch TV, read and doze off or simply watch their kids learn guitar. I like being there as well :).
Love her beautiful attitude."
My 8-year old is learning the guitar and my 9-year old is learning the piano/keyboard.
My youngest is a bit of a jokester who thinks she can do everything and my oldest is more cautious when trying new things. Stan is very good at reading their personalities and tailoring the lessons and how encourages them to suit their personalities.
We are quite surprised at how well both of the girls are learning to play songs in such a short period of time!"
Vanessa gave quality instruction while making it fun. She went over and beyond expectations with her scheduling flexibility. She also included a wide variety of music to sing. Her mannerism was kind and encouraging to the student. She is an amazing vocal teacher who is patient with her students."
As anyone just starting out learning to play the guitar knows, trying to get your fingers in the right place to form chords and strum at the same time can be a major challenge, especially since most beginners are eager to start hearing their hard work pay off by playing actual songs. You may be surprised by how easy it is to get started playing popular, easy guitar songs for beginners after you've learned the basic major chords and a few minor chords! (Not sure how to reach chord charts? Check …
