Sean really knows percussion. I've witnessed this both during lessons and when my family watched him perform with the Lone Tree Symphony. Sean is wonderful with kids. Although my son has attention issues, Sean is extremely patient, and he is able to efficiently redirect and focus my son. With Sean, music lessons are enjoyable. He has taken the time to get to know my son and how my son learns. I feel like the lessons are tailored extremely well for my child's abilities. Best of all, Sean is just a wonderful person. He's easy to talk to and has a great sense of humor. My son looks forward to his lessons with Sean each week. You won't find a better percussion instructor!

BA in Applied Theatre from Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts

My students and I work together to improve vocal technique, develop performance style and build confidence. I happily coach total beginners, professional singers and everyone in between. The methods I use draw on a range of contemporary teaching concepts that aim to help you get the most out of YOUR unique voice, as opposed to trying to produce a specific, 'cookie cutter' sound. Although, if you want to work towards a particular vocal style (Broadway, studio- pop, metal etc) we can absolutely explore that too.
Ultimately, I just want to help you achieve your singing goals, whether that's to nail an audition, master your vocal runs, work towards a performance or just to crush your morning shower karaoke session!
About Charlie
Charlie is on a mission to bring singing to the world—one laugh, one voice, one song at a time. A vivacious, London-born, classically trained singer, vocal coach, choir master and creative entrepreneur, she began her journey with a degree from the Liverpool Institute of Performing arts (where she g

Why TakeLessons?
Hear From TakeLessons Students
Over the past 12 years, we've given over 3,000,000 lessons to happy customers around the world.

I have taken about a dozen voice lessons with Asuka over the past two months. She helped me successfully audition for a the Oratorio Society of New York (a well known large chorus in NYC) and then once I was in the chorus helped me learn a very difficult choral piece by Mendelssohn and also the Mozart Requiem. Asuka is a FANTASTIC voice teacher!! She understands how the voice works and how you can improve your vocal technique, and is able to convey that to you. Most importantly, she is incredibly kind, supportive, encouraging and positive. Several times I was quite frustrated and discouraged and she always stayed cheerful and told me not to worry or give up. Without her I would not have made the chorus or learned the music as well as I did. I recommend her VERY HIGHLY!!!"

We knew Brendon was the right person to help our son Max on day one with TakeLessons, when we wrote to 4 or 5 potential instructors. The other folks wrote back and just said 'sure, I'm here, happy to help'. But Brendon wrote back with thoughts about the pieces Max needed to learn for his audition, a rough outline of a plan, and shared enough about himself that we knew he had truly 'heard' what we needed were looking for. That kind of thoughtfulness is unique.
Brendon is great with kids, and created instant rapport with Max over the video lessons. Brendon will always spend a little extra time than budgeted, which is appreciated. And his scheduling was flexible which always helps with us busy families. We did a few in person lessons and Max came away inspired - for classical guitar but also for music in general. Max's skills grew throughout, and he never resisted practicing; he looked forward to the lessons and the chance to talk about some guitar-related thing with Brendon.
Brendon isn't a big disciplinarian so after a few weeks I had a little chat with Max about what it means to respect your teacher, even if they seem young and cool and are on video. That's something I think parents need to monitor a little.
Recommended w/o any hesitation. If you have Brendon in mind you're headed in the right direction for sure. -MR"
