"I have had the pleasure of knowing and playing the violin with Robyn for many years. She is a talented violist and having played with her, she is incredib
ly patient when working with others. Her technical skills on the violin have always been well polished and she plays with her own style. As her friend, I can tell you that she is an increadibly kind person. I know that she brings her natural patience and kindness to her lessons."

"Improving every day w/ Michael!
Michael is amazing! It is my first time doing a Skype lesson on Take Lessons, and it exceeded all expectations.
about the seventh time I've worked with him, and I see progress every lesson with the his vocal technique. He usually does a vocal warm up the first part of the lesson and then we go over a song of my or his choosing depending on what my goal was. When I was working on performing the Star Spangled Banner, he helped me become comfortable line by line and tailored each phrase to my vocal range. He is a 100% effort teacher, putting all of his passion into the lesson. You can tell that he loves what he does, from the patience and willingness to complete the task at hand even if it is over the allotted time, to the extra tracks he records and sends to me so I can practice on my own during the week. I appreciate his sincere and honest constructive criticism and I look forward to working with him in the future.
As far as logistics goes, not counting the times when Skype skipped a few seconds of speech, working with Michael has been seamless. He is very professional yet very down to earth. He is very flexible with the times of the lessons and is easy to get in contact with if there is an issue with the schedule. I recommend a Skype lesson to anyone not only because of the convenience, but also the range of expertise you can get. Michael lives in Brooklyn - and there is no way I could have worked with him living in San Diego before this! Thus, the teaching environment is a 4/5 simply because of errors of technology not by fault of the teacher."

I currently have my daughter, age 8, enrolled in singing lessons with Ben. Previously, we had her starting lessons with the most popula
r teacher on this site, Lisa, with the highest number of reviews and were disappointed. She didn't seem to really invest in my daughters training. It seemed like a factory mill - student in, student out, next student in. I pulled her out after 5 lessons and went with Ben. It soon dawned on me that we had made a very good choice. Ben teaches the fundamentals first so that your child has a strong toolkit and foundation to succeed, which we weren't really getting from the previous instructor. He is very professional and takes what he does seriously and has made me feel that he cares about my daughter's progress. Additionally, he is affable and my daughter enjoys her lessons with him."

"Worlds greatest guitarist gives lessons (and he's a good guy too)
I have been taking lessons with Scott for almost 10 years. Lessons have varied from ear
training to guitar to songwriting. He is one of the most knowledgable and gifted musicians/ teachers I have ever known.
Lesson structures have been both formal and informal (at my request). I take a lot of information and knowledge home from each one and plenty to practice. Whether you want to learn a song or you want to learn theory, he can explain anything clearly and comfortably meeting you on your skill level.
I was really uncomfortable with where I was musically when I first started taking lessons. Almost immediately after starting with Scott I was confident in talking with other musicians in their language.
Do yourself and anyone who hears you make music a favor, and get a lesson with Scott!"

"My daughters and I are learning a lot from Rhonda
Rhonda is an excellent teacher. She has been able to teach 3 people in our home (me and my 2 daughters)
on guitar and piano. She listens closely to what each of us is trying to accomplish and helps provide materials appropriate for all of us. It has been a pleasure working with Rhonda."
I teach Pop, rock, blues, and metal. I was taught for about 10 years on acoustic/electric and have had 5years doing private vocal lessons. After that I started teaching myself Guitar, Bass, and piano. I started playing for about five years touring and have taught in churches and learning centers. I also have a band and play lead guitar at a venue every Saturday night. I benefit from teaching when I see the student gets it and the accomplishment is what makes me speechless to the impact I have made or whatever impact there is to come! Also, feel free to check out my band at www.deardestinymusic
*** Lesson Details *** Students cant expect a laid back atmosphere with zero pressure. Learning guitar, like any other hobby or anything you wish to learn, requires dedication and love for the craft. Anyone can play any instrument they put their mind to, all they have to do is love it and enjoy the feeling of making music.
The Curriculum I use is Mel Bay's Guitar Method. It's the book I used when I was first learning and it set a firm foundation on which I have learned to build on and improve.
*** Studio Equipment *** Digitech GNX 3000 Pedal board Line 6 UX2 Interface Schecter Damien Elite Solo 6 Ibanez S1170 Line 6 212 Kustom 412 Head and Half Stack
*** Travel Equipment *** A guitar, I expect the students to have a tuner or get a guitar in time.
*** Specialties *** I specialize in legato, alternate picking, sweep picking, economic picking and basically all methods of playing lead guitar. But I do start off by teaching acoustic and rhythm guitar

David is AWESOME!
David has been wonderfully patient and my son has learned to play so quickly. We could not have found a better teacher for my son to relate to. In the words of my son "he is AWESOME!".
I am a 2014 graduate of the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Development and Education. I have completed 2 internships, both in 1st grade, then taught Kindergarten in Seminole county Schools for one year and have since discovered my love for teaching in one-on-one situations. I believe that building relationships is an important and integral part of effective teaching, and the learning stems from that.
I have a passion for music, and have been playing flute since 2003, piano since 1998, and guitar since 2006. I played the flute thr
oughout middle and high school, and I continue playing for weddings, holiday performances, etc. to this day. I have consistently auditioned for All-County performances all throughout middle and high school with flute, and have received top positions. I have also been playing piano since 1998, taken piano lessons for 7 years, and performed in several recitals. I also have taught myself guitar and ukulele and have performed in a few festivals and coffee shops around Orlando.
I've also enjoyed venturing into the world of graphic/web design, and run my own tiny little design business at lilyliseno.com. I taught myself how to do some basic coding using HTML and CSS, and how to use adobe photoshop and illustrator to create website designs, social media graphics, logos, flyers, and t-shirt designs.
My teaching style is laid back and casual in nature. I believe the most productive learning comes through relationships, trust, and fun!
Piano lessons will be held in my home in Orlando. Flute lessons will be held in my house in Orlando or via Skype. You will need to have your own flute for lessons and practice. Guitar or Ukulele lessons will be held in my house or via Skype and you will need to have your own instrument available for lessons and practice.

I have been teaching voice and piano in the Dr. Phillips and Windermere area for four years. My studio is a fun learning environment and I take great pride in finding out what each students' goals are. I have two studios, one in Windermere and one in Dr. Phillips, for convenience. I do travel to students' homes on occasion, if my schedule allows. Lastly, there is always a very fun end-of-the-year recital.
Please note for singing, I teach a classical technique that lends itself to Classical and Musical Theatre types of singing.
My experience in music starts from an early age playing pian
o and singing in choirs. I attended Dr. Phillips High School, was apart of the Visual and Performing Arts Magnet and graduated with the Voice Department's Most Outstanding Graduate Award. I eventually earned a B.M. in Voice Performance from Palm Beach Atlantic University and I have recently received my Masters from UCF in Music.
Here is my professional bio:
Kristen, mezzo-soprano, has appeared as a soloist with the Palm Beach Symphony, Palm Beach Atlantic University Concert Choir, Palm Beach Atlantic University Oratorio Chorus and in the Palm Beach Atlantic International Piano Festival. Kristen has been a featured staff soloist in recital, concert and worship with the First Presbyterian Church of North Palm Beach. She has also been seen on the opera stage as part of the chorus with Florida Opera Theatre and Palm Beach Atlantic’s Opera Workshop performing scenes as Rosina in Il barbieri di Siviglia and Cheubino in Le Nozze di Figaro.
Kristen as a chorister, has sung with Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus and Chamber Choir, Atlanta’s up and coming Chamber Choir, Coro Vocati and Miami’s Seraphic Fire in their Professional Choral Institute Program. She has recorded with Stetson University’s Concert Choir: Duruflé Requiem and Seraphic Fire’s Professional Choral Institute, Brahms’ Ein Deutches Reqiuem, Op. 45, which was honored with a GRAMMY nomination.
A native of Florida, Kristen received her B.M. in Voice Performance from Palm Beach Atlantic University, studying with Bryon Grohman. She graduated cum laude, as a member of Who’s Who Among Universities and Colleges and received the University's Music Department’s Outstanding Graduate Award. Recently, Kristen received her M.A. in Music at the University of Central Florida, studying under Beverely Rinaldi.

Hi there! I am Francisco, a small town Hispanic artist whose life was completely transformed and given meaning to thanks to music and God. I want to share the beauty and wonder of music with you. I am a Berklee College of Music alumni and a seasoned professional musician with first-hand "real world" experience having toured several countries. My music has received critical praise through mediums such as The Deli NYC, Vice Colombia, Noisey, and more. For more than 2 years I served as Music Director and Music Instructor in DG Rockers Guitar and Music School located in Brooklyn, NY. During my tim
e at DGR I designed and oversaw the majority of the music program, taught students of all ages, and through my upbeat approach to teaching I helped increase the number of students to 8 times the amount from which I started. Most importantly, I inspired and developed many artists that will forever be some of my greatest friends!
My passion is spreading light and healing through music.
