When I teach, I strive to help students learn the most efficient practice methods and to develop a healthy attitude towards learning music. Your progression on the instrument is what will take you to the next step. Either playing solo and chamber and orchestra have the same core values: beautiful tone production, fine intonation, pure rhythm, expressive playing, knowledge of musical styles, acute listening, excellent ensemble skills. If you study with me, I will help you master these concepts and techniques at your own pace and help you find your own musical voice through playing the viola/piano.
I look forward to working with each of you :)
About Julia
I have been playing the piano for 24 years and the viola for 17 years, and have been classically trained in both. Since I was 18th I have participated in many well-known music festivals and masterclasses, and have performed in Taiwan, China, Singapore, Germany, Canada, the Czech Republic, Austria,

I have taught private piano lessons for many years and I enjoy sharing my love of music with my students. I teach ages 5 to 80 and all levels. I emphasize sightreading, rhythm, musical expression, technique and music theory. Music theory includes chords and scales. The student is also encouraged to write their own songs. I use the Faber, Alfred and Bastien method books. When the student can read easy music on the staff, additional popular songs can be added. Intermediate and Advanced students can play classical pieces or other sheet music of their choice. The student has the opportunity to play in two recitals each year.
About Miriam
I have taught private piano lessons to all ages and levels for more than forty years. I prefer to teach in my home and in certain situations I teach in students' homes. If I teach in a student's home, there must be a piano or keyboard on the first floor of the home. For lessons in your home, you

While some keyboardists are content to stay horizontal, a handful of musical trailblazers have been known to work their magic on that most interesting hybrid of instruments – the keytar. Whether you’re new to learning keyboard, or a seasoned expert, the keytar can be a fun inst …
