As a professional orchestral clarinetist and bass clarinetist, I am uniquely suited to help students master the basics of clarinet playing or to help more advanced students take their playing to new levels. I focus on building strong technique and broad musicianship that will serve learners of all ages and ability levels in any genre.

When I teach, I strive to help students learn the most efficient practice methods and to develop a healthy attitude towards learning music. Your progression on the instrument is what will take you to the next step. Either playing solo and chamber and orchestra have the same core values: beautiful tone production, fine intonation, pure rhythm, expressive playing, knowledge of musical styles, acute listening, excellent ensemble skills. If you study with me, I will help you master these concepts and techniques at your own pace and help you find your own musical voice through playing the viola/piano.

I am an up beat music instructor who focuses on the students strengths & weaknesses & also a great coach in other areas as well. Teaching the best and performance is number one with me. Self awareness is key which will help student become more motivated and become a winner! Students will enjoy my teaching technique.

I offer packed sessions that will wear you out with the fun of progress. Parents tell me that I have a wonderful way with there kids and my adult students are blown away by their own progress. I have a number of budding stars that are learning how to perform in a band, how to combine singing with learning an instrument or just how to sing better in church. I've been performing for 30+ years so I share what I know from an entertainers perspective. My emphasis with you will be on learning diaphragm control, ear training. diction, delivery and proper breathing technique. I teach professionals & beginners. It's all allot of fun. I help singers find their true voice and avoid many pit falls like, singing too loud, having pitch problems and not knowing your proper keys.
