When I teach, I strive to help students learn the most efficient practice methods and to develop a healthy attitude towards learning music. Your progression on the instrument is what will take you to the next step. Either playing solo and chamber have the same core values: beautiful tone production, fine intonation, pure rhythm, expressive playing, knowledge of musical styles, acute listening, excellent ensemble skills. If you study with me, I will help you master these concepts and techniques at your own pace and help you find your own musical voice through playing the piano/viola.

Have you ever wondered what makes your favorite music "work"? Are you interested in getting prepared for college music programs? Then studying music theory is for you! I provide students with an intuitive but thorough grounding in traditional Western music theory, my area of expertise, while encouraging students to explore the ways in which practitioners think and write about their musical experiences in other genres and cultural settings.

I have a degree in music composition, and have composed pieces for concert performance, film, and publication, as well as hundreds of songs in a variety of genres. I've developed a unique, project-based approach to help the student understand where composition, songwriting etc fit in the modern music industry, and how to develop their own music from idea to paper to final performance/recording.

Hola 👋🏻, siendo guitarrista de estudio, llevo alrededor de 13 años practicando el noble arte de tocar la guitarra sin dejar de aprender cosas nuevas cada día.

Siempre me ha dado la impresión de que en la mayoría de libros/métodos para aprender omiten cierta información que es realmente clave, además de que no suelen enseñar un material práctico y de una forma entretenida, por eso la decisión de ayudar con este enfoque.

Actualmente tengo varias ocupaciones que me mantienen entretenido: instructor, producir mi disco personal, seguir creando cursos, me encanta esta vida, con tiempo para estudiar, armar proyectos nuevos, por ese motivo tome la decisión de que era el momento de compartir lo aprendido.

I love music and want others to feel the same passion I have for music. Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, acting as a universal language that provides a unique way of empathy and connection in our lives.

As a teacher, I like creating a personally tailored repertoire that challenges and explores that specific student's potential and strengths. I value progress and skill-building, but over all, I want my students to be happy and excited about whatever music we're working on!

I have been playing various woodwind instruments for almost my entire life. I focus on tone, intonation (staying in tune), and the confidence needed to be a strong melodic player.
