I’ve been playing guitar for 18 years. Ive been doing it for a living for 16 years. Acoustic, electric, rock, jazz, country, funk, lead, rhythm, flatpick, fingerpick...pick a style I’ve played it. My lesson plan will expand your knowledge of chords and scales, and how to use them. I’ll give you exercises to increase speed, dexterierity. You’ll learn music theory while learning your favorite songs, and learn how to apply your knowledge to make learning and writing new songs easier. You will learn something new every lesson, and see noticeable progress after the first couple of sessions.

Scales are easier than you think. I don't memorize scales but but play patterns. My cheat sheet is done only by me that I know. Learning the scales is the most rewarding part. If you know the scales then you will master the guitar. Learn the instrument, then you will be able to play your songs you want. I am patient and will teach from beginning to end. Chords, everything. Almost 30 years of playing, lightning fast I am and so will you be.

About Brett

My name is Brett,I have played guitar for 30 years. My first song and why I got my guitar is sweet child o mine. I'm patient and do enjoy teaching guitar. I find it very relaxing, watching someone learning the steps.

Vocal Lessons will cover technique and breathing exercises.
We will learn what to avoid and what techniques to use to best utilize your vocal abilities.

We will cover improvisation, and I will help you discover and organize practice drills that are fun and inspirational. We will listen to songs in order to interpret song meaning, to hear major and minor tonalities, and to listen for dynamic changes.

Students will have opportunities to learn songs that they select as well as learning new songs that specifically help build strength in problem areas.

Students will be taught how to prepare for performances, in order to conquer anxiety and positively effect and enhance practice sessions.
There will also be a portion of the lesson that covers Microphones, Recording and Microphone placement so that students can learn to hear their voice thru recorded software or through a PA system, to create a more well rounded, confident performer!

About Rachel

I started my musical path in a Ballet Studio. I fell in love with the crackle of the vinyl record playing as I learned to listen and dance with the rhythm. I started playing the guitar when I was in elementary and took classical lessons until I was a teenager.I really enjoy the art of practice

"Excited about learning more!!!

Mark is an excellent teacher. He helped me correct my stand and holding the violin and hand position which has me playing much better. We had to back up to the basics but that will help me be a better violinist. He also has been flexiable about changing dates and time to fit my needs. I recommend him to anyone!"

"There is no finer teacher anywhere than Greg!
Having never played any instrument before , Greg took away any worries or anxiety I might have had. His patience and vast expertise with stringed instruments is truly amazing. Students learn at their own pace not the instructors. Greg has students making actual music very early in the process. Being able to actually play something right away is highly motivating and more importantly Fun !
Greg’s personality and his amazing talent makes it very easy to engage in the process . Having taken Bass Guitar lessons for several years with Greg , I can’t imagine what it might have been like with another teacher. Greg is an amazing instructor !
You won’t be disappointed!"

"Jillian is the best!

I've been looking for a voice lessons coach for so long and didn't find anyone who I felt comfortable with until I started with Jillian a few months ago. Her positive attitude is contagious and it actually makes me really excited every time I have a lesson. Jillian is so supportive and actually seems interested. Not only that, she's really knowledgeable and I've learned so much of music theory and sight singing in my lessons with her. You won't be disappointed if you choose Jillian as your voice coach."

"Carla's teaching technique was perfect for me. I have played the guitar for longer than I care to admit and even I was tired of hearing my same old stuff. She incrementally moved me forward line by line, measure by measure to where I now have several fingerpicking style numbers in my portfolio.

Playing for my own enjoyment is now enjoyable once again.

My lessons were online and very effective - when I got stuck, Carla would send me a sample audio clip of her playing the difficult part which was a godsend for me in how I learn new musical things.

I highly recommend Carla and her Carlalology method of guitar teaching. You won't be disappointed."
