If you want the best, then schedule a lesson with Angelika. I am an adult who wanted to learn more about piano but also in understanding music in general. So far, I have learned many techniques that make quite a difference in the way a piece sounds and in how much enjoyment I (and anyone who may be listening!) get from playing it. Angelika explains things very well and has the patience sometimes needed when learning something new…or in becoming better at it. Go ahead, do it for yourself (or those you love). You will not be disappointed!

It takes a voice teacher with a specialized training in what to look and listen for to understand what is a healthy exercise and what is not. I will help you or your child achieve their goals– but also it takes daily practice to achieve desired results. It takes at least three months of training to experience measurable improvement. Please be patient and keep it up! Rebekah was an outstanding instructor for our daughter. Our daughter was a bit difficult in the beginning putting 100% effort for the lesson. Rebekah was very keen and navigated her way through the obstacles and motivated her to be prepared and give full effort. Rebekah sets the bar high and gets her students to perform.

Rebekah was a wonderful teacher to me. I have grown children and always had singing lessons on my "bucket list". Although I have no desire to sing professionally, I always wanted to have a better singing voice so I could sing with confidence (and not embarrassment!) while worshiping at church. Rebekah understood my goals and tailored our lessons, her assignments to me and even our song choices to fit my aspirations perfectly. Her patience in moving at the pace I needed showed her maturity despite her younger age and she always provided me with honest and uplifting feedback that raised my belief that I could sing with confidence. Her move Maine is California's loss and the east coast's gain of an effective, kind and lovely instructor and person

Here are some testimonials from my previous students and employer.

It has been a honor to have such an inspirational singing teacher at our studio. Rebekah has built up her student base and continued to receive referrals, due to her stellar teaching skills. Right from the start at our studio, Rebekah set a goal for the number of students she wanted and she met the goal quickly. Our studio families enjoyed working with her and brought their friends to take singing lessons with Rebekah.

It was a pleasure to have an organized teacher, implementing a system for all of her students performances. She developed a rapport with our piano teachers, who accompanied for her students at each monthly recital event. By her planning ahead and creating the performance binder & routine, she had the most students, consistently prepared and participating to perform. Her students were taught the importance of their weekly lessons, practice, poise, confidence and projection when singing. She introduced new skills, from warming up to taking a bow. Rebekah has given our students a solid foundation in their singing careers. She took time with each student to keep their music selections fresh and new. She also helped our studio keep on top of the current trendy music, which ALL of the students enjoyed!

Rebekah has been part of our musical teaching family for 2 years. It's a joy to see how she is using her gifts in music and sharing her passion for singing!

Our studio has been blessed with heavenly voices at several of our Students Sharing's and Parent Programs. We wish her all the best in her new adventures!

I have had the pleasure of working with Rebekah Leonard for two years. I have had several instructors since I started voice training, but none of them helped me grow vocally as much as she has. With Rebekah, I have studied everything from musical theater to classical pieces. She allowed me to pick my own songs while also suggesting other pieces that would challenge my voice and allow it to improve over time. Rebekah is easy to work with. She provides helpful advice and really encourages you when you do something right or when you take a step forward. I consider Rebekah to be a friend. I look up to her because she is so talented, not just as a performer, but also as a teacher. Anyone who has the opportunity to study with Rebekah should seize it immediately; it benefited me greatly.

Rebekah Leonard is an amazing voice teacher. She may be young but I was amazed by her level of knowledge about voice. She gave my daughter tips to protect her voice long term from potential injury. She helped my son with his musical performances by giving us tips on how to sing in a musical while being sick. Her tips are practical and really worked! She gave tips for auditions and how to look your best. She is very professional and organized a beautiful parent performance with her students.

—Mrs. Pittner

Dear Rebekah,
You have played such an important role in our lives. Bringing our daughter to you for voice lessons was such an amazing decision. We watched her blossom and learn so much from you. Her confidence roared and she was able to take on new challenges and exceed. We couldn't thank you enough. We will miss you!

—Mike and Catalina Rankin

Hi Mrs. Rebekah!!
I've always loved singing, and I've always loved music. But there are certain ways I learn things, and you completely understand them. You understand what I want to achieve, and you understand how I want to go about accomplishing my goals. You understand my voice and my thoughts and you apply them to how you teach me. I have become so much more confident in my singing and my music because of you, and I've learned so much in the time we've had together. You got to know me on a personal level, and without that I never would've been able to have grown the way I have. You never pushed me to do anything that I didn't want to do, but you encouraged me to do what would make me stronger and more confident. I loved how you never made me do anything, but you instead inspired me to work harder and handed me the tools that I needed to be a better singer. You have changed my life so much, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Because I knew you as a friend as well as a teacher, you truly were one of the best teachers I have ever had. Thank you for everything that you have done for me, because I have not only been changed for the better, but I have also been changed for good.
Love,

—Sophia Rankin
