I have been playing various types of organs since I was 12 years old. Each organ is different and there are many different styles of organs and keyboards. Each one can create a unique sound that makes creating music a fun and entertaining experience. I enjoy teaching people how to make music using their talents the best way they can. Not everyone is an expert but everyone can make music.

About James

How exciting that you are thinking about learning to play the piano!!! One of my greatest joys in life has been sharing my gift of music with others, especially in teaching piano lessons. I began playing piano when I was 10 years old and by the age of 12 I was playing in my local church. I'm sur

Have had one lesson so far with James. Seems competent and sensitive to what you want to do with your goals. Really too early for me to tell for sure.

Jim is a great teacher, he makes you feel like you are really doing good playing the piano.
There is no pressure and he never is in a bad mood!
If you are having trouble with a certain part of a lesson, he repeats what is being taught in a totally different way.
He even knows what you are doing wrong and helps you correct that problem. Always in a level voice as he understands.
I am a Senior student and have never taken music lessons before. I am very pleased with Jim’s teaching methods.
This your chance to learn something new and beautiful and be proud of yourself. I recommend these lessons totally!

Whether you are new to music and have chosen Guitar as your first instrument or you are a seasoned vet with hundreds of gigs under your belt, simplicity is key!

While I have spend over two decades learning the rules of music and twisting my brain around Jazz Harmony and complex rhythmic patterns, I have come to realize one truth: MUSIC IS SIMPLE! There are seven notes in a key; keep the notes far enough apart so they don't fight with each other; learn to count to four. Oh, and own an instrument that stays in tune.

While that may seem like an over-simplification, it is not! I have a very methodical process that I have been honing since I started teaching Full-time at The School of Rock in Downingtown, Pennsylvania (now a nationwide franchise) in 2005.

Students are asked to pick a few of their favorite songs to learn. Using their material and few other musical examples chosen by me, students are taught the basics of Standartd Notation, Tablature, chord and scale diagrams, ...

About Thomas

I LOVE to teach and I am looking for a few more motivated students online and at my home studio on Merritt Island, Florida. Lessons are fun and motivating! Beginning students learn songs that they love while also learning basic theory and instrument technique. Advanced students will have their mind

I take a ln approach where the student is leaning but is having fun and expanding their mind and abilities at the same time. I incorporate a variety of ways to learn and focus on how to practice so you can reach your potential in at a fast pace. If you know how to learn then studying an instrument becomes a whole different experience. We will work on studying to hear by ear and play by ear l, but also by reading music too, so you are learning from both ways which is essential to a rounded style of learning. There is everything from scales and songs to etudes and more that we work on. I do push my students but I am patient and supportive and it works because you want to learn so there is no reason not to push ourselves when studying an instrument. The more you learn the more you can do and the more freedom you have. Come try a lesson. See how you like it!

About Andrew

I began playing violin in 3rd grade and in 10th grade added viola so I have played both instruments for a very long time. Music is exciting to me and fun. It is satisfying to create music and to learn how to do new things. In lessons I focus on teaching correct technique and give a variety of stuff

Dan taught me to play dozens of genres over a decade of study, ranging from jazz and Latin standards to 9-min long progressive metal epics, and that one World Tour orchestral score with the tempo modulation. I've played at drop-in jazz jams and rock gigs thanks to Dan's training. Highly recommend.
Chris
Dan knows the drums thoroughly and knows how get students to play quickly. Highest recommendation
Stephanie
We had a wonderful experience with Dan as my son's drum instructor. My son started at a fairly young age (6) and was interested in playing more what he heard on the radio, anywhere from Taylor Swift to Metallica. Dan was extremely patient in developing his lessons with my son by incorporating these types of songs in his lesson and keeping my son's interest up throughout the 30 minute lesson/"jam session." I'd highly recommend Dan to anyone interested in learning drum skills like those of Neil Peart, Buddy Rich, and other rock and roll legends.

Should Drummers Learn Music Theory?

If you're a drummer, does that mean you're off the hook if you don't want to learn music theory? Maybe you just want to rock out and learn some killer fills and wow the crowd with your solos. No need for modes, minor scales or the Circle of Fifths... right? Think again. Learning music theory can be incredibly helpful to any musician, and excluding yourself from those Music Theory 101 classes is only holding you back. Sure, you may not need to memorize the pentatonic scales in order to master …
