Singing is an expressive act! It's a creative outlet as well. For the individual who wants to casually learn the process, I have many great forms of instruction to accommodate this learning style. Singing is also a great way to build self-confidence and growth in teenagers as they navigate through the growth process. I'd love to answer any questions you might have for this process.

If you are ready to start taking your guitar skills SERIOUSLY then stop wasting time and money on teachers who don't fully understand the instrument or subject matter themselves. My name is Russ and I have been playing guitar professionally for 20 years and teaching music and producing records for over 15. I have a Platinum #1 Billboard charting record under my belt, worked with artists such as Mac Miller, Sean Kingston, Red Velvet, Lifehouse and more; and have composed music to 100s of your favorite TV shows! Feel free to browse my official website for a full list of credits. Want to learn to shred guitar? Produce beats? Write your own songs? Dive into theory? Record yourself? Carolyn is a true triple threat teacher. She began working professionally at 8 years old and has since appeared on stage, in national commercials, recorded voiceovers, and booked principal roles in both film and television. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2011 from the Boston Conservatory, where she majored in musical theater with an emphasis in directing. She is currently in the hit Off-Broadway shows “My Big Gay Italian Wedding” and “My Big Gay Italian Funeral”. In her spare time, Carolyn has always loved working with people who have a passion for the arts. Whether it’s in a classroom, at a dance studio, or sitting at the piano, Carolyn has worn the many hats of acting coach, voice teacher, dance instructor, music theory tutor, piano teacher, and college audition coach to name a few. Her masterclasses have been given throughout Long Island and New York City, with students ranging in age from 5-55! Winning first place in national dance competitions, receiving perfect scores on vocal/piano NYSSMA solos, getting cast as leads in theater productions, and being accepted to some of the most competitive college programs in the nation are just a few of her clients’ many accomplishments.

Hey there!! My name is Jameson Tabor and I'm a professional recording artist (singer, songwriter, and producer) based in Los Angeles, CA. I'm also an experienced musician and live performer with over 20 years of study and industry experience. Lessons in my studio are about so much more than just learning to sing a song or analyze music**. Students are instilled with technique, work ethic, real-world business knowledge, and confidence so they can truly accomplish whatever they set their minds to. We go deep focusing on how to develop new mental and physical habits that can help you better express yourself. Every student gets a handcrafted curriculum that is specifically catered to meet their goals and needs, and of course, that I hope is fun too! Singing is one of the most vulnerable things a person can do!–which is why it's so important to me that I provide not only criticism and critique, but also praise and validation. I've learned that we do our best work when we can feel hopeful, proud, and supported in our individuality. We can only improve by putting ourselves out there, which means you failing (a lot!). From lesson one, I will begin instilling you with knowledge and confidence, while always providing you opportunities to build up your independence. I will be right there with you in the trenches, celebrating your wins with you, calling you out on your excuses, and reminding you to recognize both the big and small changes as you move closer to your goals. I generally work with adults and teens (ages 16 and up) who are looking to build a career in the music and entertainment industry and/or have a serious passion for music. I've worked with students from ages 6-65, with a huge variety of backgrounds and interests–from complete beginners with no musical background or training to professional performing artists. Singing is a skill, and any skill can be learned with the right time and attention. If you show up once a week and put in the work, I guarantee that you will not only see improvement in your technical skills, but will also become a more confident singer within the first month of starting lessons. So what are you waiting for?? Let's do this! Jameson PS. I also offer the option of accompanying my students on the keyboard during lessons at no additional cost. **Reading music and music theory knowledge is useful, but not required.
