Matthew Fisher is both a talented, experienced drummer; as well as being a passionate, friend
I received tuition for around three years from Matt (before I left for University), and I found the experience invaluable. I started with just an interest in drumming, and ended up with a talent and hobby that I still continue to enjoy today. Matt took me through buying a kit, learning the basic beats and rudiments, writing and reading music, playing to music that I enjoy and also broadening the appeal of other genres such as Jazz and Latin drumbeats. In fact I went from being a metal-junkie to being a fan of all music that had an interesting beat!
Matt's teaching style is laidback and friendly, but at the same time focused to achieving your personal goals. For example I was particularly interested in getting to grips with double-bass, so we started by writing some double bass beats that I could perfect and extend on for our next session. On starting each new topic Matt would often perform a short solo as a kind of demonstration of how the skills I would be learning next could be applied, to make them not only interesting but practical (also it is pretty amazing to see Matt show off his talents).
I could not recommend Matt's services highly enough. If you are looking for a friendly and passionate drum teacher who really wants you to learn the way you want and develop the skills you require, then Matthew Fisher is your man!"

on to other teachers, I realized what a great foundation she gave me, I was way ahead of the other students and sometimes a little ahead of the teacher. Lol.
She knows a lot about different kinds of music, which was really cool.
I learned blues, some rockabilly, and even a Metallica song while I was
studying with her. She makes learning really fun!"

My almost 15 year old son, Braden has been taking weekly lessons from Jordan since the beginning of this school year and h
We have a very complicated family schedule. Braden plays baseball, is in choir at school, and we are very involved in church as well as other family things. Jordan has been very flexible with us when we have had to occasionally move our lesson at times for various reasons. Very professional.
NOTE: Jordan truly has been a God-send. Braden loves playing guitar and all that Jordan has taught him. However, as awesome as Jordan is, he is NOT a miracle worker. Braden puts in a lot of time on his own practicing all that he learns during his lessons. You must be willing and committed to doing your "homework" in order to get the most out of your time with Jordan.
And most importantly, Braden would say, "He's cool." ;)"
