Curtis is a fantastic teacher! He is patient, enthusiastic, and encouraging. He teaches the type of songs you want to learn and not some song from a guitar guidebook. My first lesson was two hours and it quickly went by. I learned a lot, had a lot of fun and am looking forward to my next lesson. If you are in search of a guitar instructor, I would highly recommend him.

On acoustic guitar, we will learn chords, chord progressions, reading music, technique, and rhythms.

About Hissael

I have been teaching and tutoring students for 6 years now. I teach math and guitar. The thing I love most about my teaching isn't the end result of a student's passing report card or a student's accomplishment of learning a difficult musical piece. It is the effort that takes place between the stu

"I've had weekly acoustic guitar lessons as an adult beginner for a little over a month now. I consider Brandon to be an outstanding instructor for several reasons: He makes it a point to understand my interests & goals, and always keeps the lesson plans moving in this direction. Brandon is patient with the learning process, and he also keeps things dynamic and challenging with a good balance of music theory, technical skills development, and application. Each lesson pulls me out of my comfort zone but he is careful not to overwhelm me. It's a pleasure to be instructed by someone who is so highly proficient with such a deep understanding of music, and who also wants to share their knowledge and experience with others to help them grow. I highly recommend Brandon."

"Francisco Díaz is not only an extraordinary violinist. He is one of the best mentors I have ever had. He identifies who his students are and he tries to make a deep understanding of them so that way he can help them and fix anything they can do wrong. He not only helps people to become great musicians, he also helps people to become better humans."

"Aldrin is very good. I have him teaching my 9-yr old and she has had only 1 lesson so far so it's hard to say too much yet. I would say perhaps though that maybe 9 may be too young to focus on the things that you need to learn in regards to the basics, for example breathing, etc. My daughter finds it hard to follow along sometimes. I think it's going to get better though. Aldrin is very patient."

"Skilled, comprehensive and fun piano teacher

We hired Tom to teach piano to our 9-year old--an energetic, creative, and sometimes distracted kiddo who was transitioning from a teacher we absolutely loved (but who was taking a hiatus). Tom has proven to be everything that my son needs: he is thorough, patient, reliable, and challenging. My son loves to compose music and Tom has taken that passion to help him learn theory and push his creative and performance side. Tom has been completely reliable and professional, always on time and communicative. We are truly happy we found him!"
