Greetings! Alec is the Piano Teacher for Kids in Orange County. Along with tutoring piano, he is also a music composer for film, video-games, and multi-media. With over 15 years of piano-playing experience, and 5 years of teaching, Alec is happy and excited to achieve whatever your child's goals are in playing the piano.

Within the first few lessons, you or your child will be able to:
(1) Understand the Foundations of the Piano
(2) Effectively Read Notes
(3) Recognize Patterns in Music
(4) Use Both Hands Fluidly Within a Song

Alec's foremost philosophy in teaching piano is following the student's goals and dreams, not his own. While curriculum work is certainly vital, it is far more important that his students receive help they need in accomplishing their biggest aspirations in music. Whether your child wants to be a music composer, rock-star, or just playing for their loved ones, Alec can bring them closer to that goal.

Alec's promise to you is to ...

I do stress and recommend all my students to learn how to read music and usually by our second or third lesson they will playing simple songs. I am here to help you make music!

At my granddaughter's request, I listened and enjoyed her lesson very much! Miss Ginni was very enthusiastic and demonstrated competence in working with adolescents and knowing her music well. She could tell the notes from just listening to my granddaughter play and she continually praised her efforts.Yet she kindly corrected mistakes when needed.
I learned from listening and I think I might like Miss Ginni as a teacher too!

"We are extremely happy to have found Jerry as a vocal coach for my daughter. It was hard to find someone to fit her needs to not only be able to help her develop her vocals but in addition teach her the recording side of the industry. Also, it has been great for Ashley to have someone that lets her pursue the type of music that she loves all while improving her technique. His techniques are focused on strengthening the body and staying healthy to support your vocals. He is very dedicated to his students needs and is always willing to give his time and attention to them. We very much recommend Jerry has a vocal instructor/coach. Thank you Jerry!"

Majoring in Music? How to Nail Your Guitar Audition

Is a music major in your academic future? Guitar teacher Brett M. shares 10 things you need to know to have a great guitar audition at the music college of your choice... If you’re a guitarist who’s planning to continue your music education at the college level, then this may be one of the most important articles you could ever read. 50+ Best Acapella Songs for Girls, Guys, Groups & More | TakeLessons

Every singer should have a few traditional and contemporary acapella songs under their belt. Many times, singers are required to sing acapella at auditions - without an accompanist or background track. Music directors often ask singers to sing acapella in order to hear and test their musicality and stamina. (Acapella singing requires that these skills be sharp!) It also shows that you’re able to be a leader, and that you're comfortable having the spotlight on you as a solo singer. I …
