styles from classical to modern.

About Steve

Steve began his musical journey on the piano as a child, later moving on to explore clarinet and trumpet in band before discovering the French horn in high school. Though he earned his bachelor of music in horn performance at CSU, Sacramento, he never gave up the piano, teaching students and accomp

I have been playing drums for more than 10 years and have been teaching for more than 3. Throughout that time, I have played across the country in New York City and even in Japan. I am currently a Jazz Studies Major at Sacramento State University. My goal is to make every student a well-rounded drummer who knows whats going on when they are in any type of musical situation. My favorite style to play is jazz, but I am well-rounded in all other styles such as rock, Latin, blues, funk, and country.

In my lessons, I base the material on the student depending on how advanced they are. If the student is just starting out, I will teach them the basics such as holding the drumsticks properly, basic rudiments, reading rhythms, learning about the hardware, and so on.

If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask :D

About Gabriel

I started playing drums when I was in second grade and formed a band with my 2 older brothers who played bass and guitar. It was something to do when we younger but when I got into high school, I took playing drums a lot more seriously. I was in a very competitive marching band playing bass drum an

My Son started with Sergio almost a year now. The music teacher in his school moved him to play with the fifth grade class, however he is a fourth grader. I received a great report about his music performance from school. Sergio is a wonderful music teacher, who is able to make the lesson full of energy and joy. I strongly recommend him for any student who wants to achieve great progress in Sax in no time.

As an avid dancer and actor, I also teach about portraying a message through performance and bonding with your audience. "I'm an "older" student who picked up the drums again after a many-years absence. Keith made my reintroduction awesome. He's a very talented musician who brings a passion and enthusiasm to the drums and his students. I always looked forward to my weekly lessons with him both because I was eager to learn new techniques, beats, etc. but also because I got a change to hang with Keith for 30 minutes and "talk drums." No matter your skill level, I highly recommend Keith to help guide you on your drumming journey."

We'll explore that in this article. Black and White Keys on Piano Pianos are arranged with white keys for the musical tones of A, B, C …
