Singing lessons with me is unique because I feel like I have been through it all, in the sense of going through many vocal teachers and experimenting with different techniques. After finding my teacher Michael Mayer, I have finally been able to feel free and comfortable in my singing and want to share this knowledge with everyone!
I am highly intuitive and am able to get in tune with the singer and recognize what is needed because I have such a strong vocal technique background as I've spent most of life searching for true vocal technique and so glad to have finally found it! And I must say I'm very passionate about the art of bel canto and therefore feel like I'm lucky to hold the knowledge of some great secrets especially living in Italy for over 16 years where I've been able to become fluent in the language and learn the spirit of bel canto!

Hello! I'm Carolyn Smith and I love being involved in my students progress. Helping my students find their true voice and helping them build power, versatiity, strength, and range is very exciting With all my singers I teach from an understanding of how the voice works and help my students to understand their voice. With this approach to vocal technique my students are able to sing in all major styles including musical theater, rock, pop, and classical literature. I am a very supportive and patient teacher and encourage my students to explore their voice while helping them maintain healthy vocal habits to avoid straining and abuse. When teaching singing, I especially enjoy diagnosing any problems with the voice and working together to solve them.
Since 1988, I have been teaching voice to individuals and groups in my private studio. I have a masters degree in vocal music and drama and a bachelor's degree in vocal music from the prestigious School of Music at University of North ...

As a classical singer who has studied voice for twelve years, I teach with a healthy, free-of-tension approach to singing. I believe that with the right training, anyone can be a singer. My lessons will focus on releasing tensions in the body and maintaining good vocal health, while being tailored to students' needs. I would love to work with students on anything from expanding their range, improving tone quality, diction, repertoire choices, acting, breath support, vocal health, and more.

I have been teaching voice lessons since I was in college! People kept asking me to teach them, so I did. I teach both classical and musical theatre singing, so if you would like to learn to belt or sing in Italian, I can help! I am experienced in French, Italian and German diction. For musical theatre, I teach both classical style (high voice) and belt (lower voice). I have a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities with a Music emphasis, so I can also help with aural skills like counting systems and solfege. Solfege will help A TON if you want to pursue music in college. For younger singers, I can help with picking appropriately ranged songs to build vocal agility and strength.
About Nicholette
I take a very positive approach to teaching. I'll encourage you and guide you to reach your fullest potential, whatever your goals are. I focus a lot on technique(breath, sound, vowels and vocalization) because that is foundational for everyone and it will help you no matter what you want to achiev

She was a very good help at showing me how to relax and get more sound out when singing. Very patient, worked with my specific needs well."
I had the great fortune to take many vocal performances classes from Rob. Rob really helped me find the singing voice I had longed to express. Through teaching fundamentals and exploring correct breathing techniques, Rob taught me how to sing correctly. Through his years of performance, he taught me how to engage with my audience and express the music. And through his heart-centered approach, he taught me how to really enjoy performing. Rob is very gifted, patient, and effective. I have seen him work wonders with myself and other students. Not only will you be thrilled with the results, but you will get to know this amazing man."

Rachel is a fantastic teacher and really understands the kind of music I am into and want to emulate vocally. She is super cool, very encouraging and just overall awesome on every level. Couldn't ask for more.
I highly recommend taking lessons with her!"

When it comes to learning how to sing rock music, what do you need to know? Find out in this article by Saint Augustine, FL teacher Heather L... Rock singers are not exactly known for having impeccable technique or healthy vocal habits. So it might seem strange that a classically trained singer and professional voice teacher has anything to say about singing rock music, but I do. First, I believe that it's wrong to dismiss rock singers as undisciplined slackers with little interest in …
