Vocal Training · Online
I take vocal training for my two children and I must say that K'Shae is brilliant. She is not just a teacher, but very attentive and gets the best out of my children. She has received many vocal accomplishments and is a good teacher to take training under. Her passion and enthusiasm towards music is very visible. Her lessons are not just for money and rather a service.
My kids are doing very well and they have achieved correct vocal techniques. Best music teacher we have had.

What a great person!
Kiki is not just a singing teacher she is a wonderful person. We noticed her love for music since our very first meeting when we contacted her for our extremely shy, 10-year-old daughter. Her attitude is simply amazing and she has been able to create a friendly relationship with our daughter, who now is eager to attend her lessons. Kiki has helped our girl a lot, not only from a “vocal” point of view but also gave her a lot more self-confidence. So glad we met this angel.

Mrs. Mandy M.

Round Rock, TX

About Mrs. Mandy

WHY MRS. M.?
Because every child is a star at M. Music Stars Studio.

Students will learn songs they love, not just songs the teacher loves. Students will be taught to improvise and be creative in addition to learning to read music and theory. Students will play in front of appreciative audiences, not just alone in their piano room. Students will learn from an enthusiastic, pro musician and experienced Elementary School Teacher who is excited about music and teaching, not from an old-fashioned piano teacher with a scowl on her face.

Friendly, positive, personalized piano and voice
instruction in the M. Music Stars Studio will help your child not just enjoy music as a child, but to love music for a lifetime.

COMFY LESSONS!
Lessons take place in a comfortable setting, at Mrs. M.'s home studio in Round Rock, near Greenlawn and Gattis School Road. Have you heard of those grumpy, geezerly piano teachers from the past that would rap students on the knuckles? Well, nothing could be further from that with Mrs. M.'s warm, friendly, and positive learning atmosphere. Each week, students are greeting by their smiling, enthusiastic teacher, and work to meet goals with positive reinforcement where students see their hard work pay off! Playing piano is FUN!

KIDS ARE STARS!
Every student is a star! It shouldn't just be sports participants who earn trophies and receive cheers-- musicians should too! M. Music Star Students have performance opportunities to showcase their hard work and joy of performance and to earn trophies at recitals and experience the joy from performing for senior homes and community events! Students are able to dress as stars and play piano and sing to appreciative crowds, while growing in confidence and sharpening their performance skills.

"Mandy is a modern day Mary Poppins, bubbly with joy and enthusiasm and adept at engaging young musical minds. My daughter enjoyed her lessons and always looked forward to her instruction time. I only wish she still had her studio South because we have failed to find another teacher to measure up to the high standard she set!"

I took lessons from Moses from the ground up. Starting in 8th grade. His lessons were structured to be simple, easy to grasp, songs that I like. So the practice was fun in the early stage and he helped me through every stage. I learned from him for over two years. As the music that I was playing became more complex and speedy (I am a metal player as well as others) he was teaching me theory so I understood why things sounded the way they did. He has a good understanding of multiple genres. He taught me songs and licks in other genres. Rock, blues, metal, jazz, and classical. I am currently pursuing a degree in music education for classical guitar. He first instilled the love of music that I have had in the guitar for over 6 years now. He is great for beginners, or experienced players to step up their game. Great teacher

David L.

Hutto, TX

About David

My name is David and I'm a professional musician who just moved to North Austin. I came from Cincinnati, where I went to the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music, taught dozens of students at all levels and played regular gigs every weekend. I have been teaching for over fifteen years, and I'm looking to get a few new students.
I teach guitar, piano, bass guitar and even upright bass. If it's a tutor you are looking for I can also teach music theory and appreciation. I have a knack for teaching young people, probably because I was young when I started my musical journey. I'
ve been very successful at inspiring a student's love of music and instilling the patience required to take on the challenge of playing an instrument.
The first thing I like to do is get to know you, the music you enjoy and your goals. In a way, I like to begin by letting the student lead.
In addition to learning from you, I intend to present you with new information, to try and broaden your musical tastes and teach you how to be an active listener.

David L. Was highly recommended to us by multiple people. He taught my two daughters piano for 1 1/2 years before we said a tearful goodbye as he moved to Texas. David L has a perfectly magical way in communicating to young students. He always spoke positively and found something good to say about any piece they played. He would then very positively guide them towards the correct way of playing. My shy, nervous girls thrived. It is truly going to be a challenge finding his replacement, David L. is an amazing person and teacher.

After signing up for lessons with David L. I knew I made the right choice. Just after a couple of weeks I didn't see him as a teacher but as a best friend. There was always a relaxed atmosphere during the lessons. He was very easy to talk to and he really listen to you. If I ever had a question he would answer. He tailors to what ever you want to do in that lesson. David L. is a great teacher and a friend. I totally recommend him for anyone

Acoustic Guitar · In home
David is not only a great musician and educator but also a delightful human. We began using David six years ago as a piano teacher for my two boys. Since then my eldest moved on to acoustic and electric guitar and my youngest electric and stand up bass. Somewhere along the way I began to take guitar lessons also (I was David's most bearded student at age 48). David always came prepared to lead but also to follow, he often asked what we were listening to and taught us how to play it. His ability to listen to a piece of music and transcribe it always left me amazed, we have several notebooks full of songs we learned individually or played as a group. After a shoulder injury David continued to impress by teaching me music theory instead of our usual lesson. I could go on forever, David made a positive impact on my family and feel fortunate to have met him.
