I studied viola with a myriad of amazing teachers that really cared about my future.

I have taken many pedagogy classes in college and after.

I LOVE the Suzuki method because it introduces not just technique but how to "make" music. Such as phrasing and dynamics.

I just moved back from Japan after teaching there for 4 years.

About Christina

Hello Potential Students, I am a disabled veteran, military spouse, mother of three children and nature enthusiast. I studied viola at Boise State University and Psychology at The University of Idaho. I perform regularly with 3 symphonies in the Southeast Virginia area and run a farm. I mo

Chris is kind and patient. He is not a French horn player, but is able to teach the basic components. He discusses the form of playing a lot. My daughter has enjoyed learning from him.

Fantastic Experience!

As a colleague of Chris' I can heartily recommend his teaching to any trombonists wishing to hone their skills as musicians. Chris focuses on the individual needs of each student, working to tailor his lessons to meet their specific needs and face their unique challenges. His attention to detail and patience helps each student build a strong foundation in musicality and fantastic brass playing. I recommend him highly as both a superb educator and performer!

Trumpet Lessons for my son

My son is 12 years old, has been playing Trumpet and Flugelhorn for about 5 years, and he needed a private instruction to take his music to the next level. He has made great progress under Chris' guidance, and his easy going manner has made our son feel very comfortable with the lesson environment. He is very talented, and would highly recommend Chris for anyone looking to further their capabilities.

About Brian

The only thing I've ever wanted to do was play drums. My parents bought me my first drum set at age 6. I've spent my whole life learning how to be good at what I love. I still study and practice almost every day, but now I pass my knowledge on to others. If you want to see one of my early students

Brian taught drums to me for probably four or five years, and it was seriously great. I always looked forward to having lessons with him because I knew I'd learn a lot and most importantly it would be fun. I don't take lessons anymore but I still think about many of the things he taught me when I sit down to practice. He definitely helped shape me into the drummer I am today and I'm proud to say he taught me.

Brian was my son’s first drum teacher. He was amazing! Ethan really learned the basics of how to play and enjoy the drums. We wish Brian lived closer so we could continue to have him as a teacher.

Brian Cramer thought our youngest son for I believe about 5 years. It was a great experience for our child. He loved his lessons and was always looking forward to his time with Brian. Noah became an excellent drummer and to this day can sit at his drum set and play really well. Brian was enthusiastic, fun and dedicated teacher. We were lucky to a found them at a time when our child was eager to learn. Thanks Brian!

At the beginning I didn't appreciate the various directions he was taking me, like having to learn various chords, etc. on a keyboard. But I can see now that it is all coming together.
