I am a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. I have been teaching professionally for 17 years
It is important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson.
I try to find out what student is interested in, and guide my instruction according to keep the lessons engaging and fun, no matter their ability level.

Specializing in a comprehensive approach to music which includes instrumental technique, music theory, rhythm and aural skills, music history and appreciation, music performance and songwriting in order to build a solid foundation in musicianship. Pop, Rock, Country and Folk genres.

Whether its for auditions, private enjoyment, for your band or choir we work on vocal technique and practice techniques to improve your vocal ability.

I sing in international houses as an opera singer, and I would love to pass on everything that I have learned over my twenty years of singing onstage. I specialize in classical voice, but good singing technique is universal, and I would be very happy to assist you at any level, from the very beginner to the very advanced. My core vocal principals are breath, alignment, placement, and last but definitely not least, joy and love of music. I am also a pianist, and I can assist you with piano or music theory/ learning skills.

Singing is super fun but can also be discouraging when obstacles such as strain and vocal fatigue set in. My goals as a voice teacher are to boost the confidence of singers through developing reliable breathing technique, a connected support system and a clear, easy tone. I have been teaching voice for the past seven years, have a bachelors in voice, and am working towards a masters in voice from Florida State University where I teach undergraduate musical theater and classical students. Along with voice technique lessons, I frequently coach my students in singing German, Italian, and French as well as English.
