I specializing in the beginner/intermediate guitar student! All ages welcome. Lessons are customized and catered to the needs/goals of each student.
I try to concentrate on having a fun and rewarding experience making the preference of learn to play songs rather than teach theory and scales. If the student prefers a more academic approach, i can accommodate, but I find the students have a better experience when they can pick up and play more quickly.

About Rick

I am a Berklee College of Music Alumni and have years of experience teaching. I started teaching in France, and then taught some classes in Boston. Spent 4 years studying with some of the greatest drummers out there from Rock to Jazz, and HipHop drumming ( James Murphy from the blue man group, Marko Djordjevic, and Omar Hakim), after spending another 4 years studying Jazz in Paris. I have a passion for teaching and transmission. After touring with bands like Lick Neon and playing around the US I felt like I wanted to go back to teaching drums. My teaching is unique, very centered on playing, and less centered on books because to me the best way to learn music is to play by ear and to learn how to listen. I will teach you basics and rudiments, but very quickly I will show you how to use those in a creative and fun way, so that your appetite for learning more keeps growing. I would love to meet you and get you closer to your drum dreams !

About Clement

Teaching means the world to me. Music has been transmitted from generation to generation during the whole history of humanity and to keep music alive, we need people to be fully dedicated to transmitting what they learned to keep music growing, and to empower people to believe in themselves and tha

Being a first time drum student , I took lessons with Clement and he was so patient and really helped me build the confidence that I needed. Although I'm only playing for a hobby, I feel as if I can now call myself a drummer thank you to the guidance as well as the standard that Clement held me too. Also great hip hop producer!

After having taken some lessons online with various instructors, it is clear to me that Clément has been my best experience. Learning drums online was never easy but I am very busy so that's my only option, and he made sure that I always understood him clearly, sent me some exercises to practice after classes and always encouraged me and made me believe in myself. Still take lessons to this day and now I have my own band ! Thanks Clem :) !!

"The reason I came to Mr. Brian was that I got switched to various teachers when I was taking piano lessons at a local music school. It was hard for me to adapt so many teaching styles. The school didn't even allow me to take a week off when my ex-teacher was sick! The owner of the school forced me to try out the other teachers. Horrible experience. After getting irritated, I was told by my former teacher that she had to leave for China for a few months and I just didn't want to wait for so long in order to resume my lessons. My friend told me he studies with Mr. Brian and I just wanted to try him out and I couldn't be happier! He has an interesting and unique way of teaching; he can always come up with vivid descriptions of sound. We'd both laugh at it but it helped my playing!! He always made me think and try to understand the meaning behind the notes and harmonies. We worked a lot on piano technique, arm movement, weight transfer and did a lot of fingerwork. He had me play a lot of Czerny studies and scales.
I have been with him for almost two years now and I am currently trying to play some Chopin etudes. Under his tutelage, I have been given the chance to participate in various competitions. I had the chance to perform in public at prestigious venues like Carnegie and Merkin Hall. I never thought I could come this far. Mr. Brian inspired me to major in piano performance in college!
In retrospect, I wish I hadn't gone to the local music school at all...

I highly recommend Mr. Brian. He will make your fingers "sing"!
The best mentor & a life changing figure."

Having attended his full class recitals we recognize the breadth of his teaching capacities. Although our goals are currently focused on appreciation and the basics, we are as warmly welcomed as his collegiate scholars."

"Thomas has requested that I write a letter of recommendation on his behalf.
Thomas worked as an instructor for Piano Keys 4 Kids from September 2013 to June 2014. As the owner of Piano Keys 4 Kids, I assigned Thomas with duties as an instructor in an after school enrichment program in several public elementary schools. Specifically, Thomas taught children in grades K-3 the basic fundamentals of the piano using a curriculum developed by Piano Keys 4 Kids. His group class time was approximately 1 hour in length. Based on his college class schedule he accepted as many school assignments as possible.
Over the time that I have known Thomas he has consistently performed his duties with competence. Thomas was not only reliable in attending every class he was assigned, but very prompt in delivering an update on the progress of his classes.
With the depth of Thomas' musical skills, he can be an outstanding piano teacher in both the private and group setting.
While Thomas leaving our company to attend graduate school is a loss to us, I have every confidence that Thomas will thrive in graduate studies as well as in his music instructor endeavors. Thomas is an intelligent and committed individual."

"The best vocal coach ever!

Michelle is an incredible vocal coach. I can't believe I kissed so many frogs before I found her. She helped me expand my range, apply new techniques, and most importantly, she helped me build confidence in myself as a singer. She is funny and full of energy. There is no wasted second while working with Michelle. She'll make you work until she gets the best out of you. I wish I had the time to take three lessons a week with Michelle.

I can only say great things about this wonderful teacher.
She is the best!"
