His students value his patience and ability to find an inspiring path to discovery for each individual. Danilo has also shown himself to be very effective in the classroom setting. He has been a general music teacher in the Boston Public School system as well as teaching master classes and clinics at music schools and universities around the country.

Danilo considers his success as a performer to be in a direct relationship with the success of his teaching and he aims to spread to the joy of music making and appreciation as wide as possible.

My teaching style is relaxed and supportive while always aiming to increase the knowledge of the student. My strong technical background combined with a deep sense for wide-ranging musical styles allows me to find what inspires a student initially, and use their interests and strengths to lead them to new discovery and technical efficiency.

Private study covers technical aspects of the instrument, including body awareness as well as reading, theory and musical expression and improvisation.

While each individual learns at a different pace, I strive to point out the progress my students have made because I find this recognition of achievement, no matter how small, is essential in a student's continued love of studying music.

*** Studio Equipment ***
lessons in dedicated music room with all instruments and equipment; upright piano, drum set and percussion.

Danilo is a really great drum teacher. Challenging, but also meets you at what ever level you're at. When limbs don't know how to rally together for a new thing, he's a very good cheerleader until it comes together or helps make it make sense to break through that wall. Enjoys good music too. Super recommend.

*** Lesson Details ***
I studied music performance at UMass Dartmouth. I have the tools and resources to teach the students what they need to know in order to teach themselves. In lessons, I focus on what the student wants to learn, however for younger students I tend to stick with the methods books for a while.
I am a big fan of applying relevant elements of music theory to the music we're learning: it helps to understand the science behind the music. Noticing patterns and understanding common terminology will make it easier to learn pieces and play with other musicians.

*** Studio Equipment ***
Kimball baby grand piano.
I can teach at my house in Attleboro as well as come to you.

*** Specialties ***
Music theory and classical piano. (Classical and pop)

Beau is patient and kind, and yet persistent and focused with my 8 year old daughter. She has major anxiety issues and is often both frightened by new people and hyper sensitive to correction. Beau navigates her through her fears and shares his love of the music. She has had half a dozen lessons now, and we fully intend to continue lessons with Beau.

My daughter was thrilled with the job Beau did on the first lesson and has a renewed drive to really work at playing. I'm very impressed. Even my younger daughter listened in and said "he's amazing". Looking forward to the next Lesson.

About Stan
Hi! I am a private music instructor offering lessons both in-studio and online. I hold a Bachelor of Music Degree from Berklee College of Music, where I graduated Summa cum Laude, and I have over 36 years' full-time experience as an instructor.

I also have over four decades of experience as a professional jazz, rock, and theater musician. My experience has taken me from nightclubs to concert stages to churches, as well as television studios, radio stations, and many recording studios.

Finally, I am a published author with several titles dedicated to helping musicians becoming the best they can be.

**** MY TEACHING STYLE ****

My teaching style is often referred to as laid-back, gentle, informative, and very supportive. My focus is on enrichment, encouragement, and results.

I don't work with “one-size-fits-all” methods. Ea
ch lesson is customized to make the most of each student's own unique abilities, limitations, preferences, and interests. Whether students prefer, or do better with, traditional materials, playing/singing along with their favorite recordings, improvisation, or anything in between, I am more than happy to accommodate and bring out each student’s best!

I teach real music -- students begin playing music they love almost from day-one. For example, many of my piano and guitar students pride themselves on learning to play every song on the Beatles One album ... playing right along with the CD! Reading, playing by ear, improvisation (jamming), singing while you play ... there are so many ways to play and avenues to explore in music.

**** MY STUDIO ****

My studio is spacious (very spacious – no cubicles here!), well-appointed, and very quiet. Unlike music stores and multi-lesson facilities, there are no other lessons on the premises, no drummers going crazy on the other side of the wall. This means students can concentrate better and learn faster. There is also plenty of room for parents and siblings who may wish to sit in on lessons.

**** STYLES / GENRES ****

I believe that students make the most progress learning music they love and I am very happy to teach every student the style of music he or she loves most.

My most requested genres are: pop, rock, country, blues, classic rock, jazz, and classical. Some students arrive knowing exactly what they want, but most are happy to explore various styles that interest them in search of the perfect fit. It is not at all uncommon for a student to spend part of their lesson polishing up a Beethoven piece or jazz standard, then finish up playing the chords to “Hotel California” along with the CD. Another student might start off their lesson learning a Taylor Swift hit, then move over to doing some blues improvisation. Variety is a wonderful thing and it is highly encouraged!

**** MY STUDENTS ****

Over the years, I have taught students from four years old to eighty-somethings. I’ve taught absolute beginners (most of my students start from square-one), hobbyists, seasoned professionals, even a Grammy nominee and a Grammy winner! Many of my young students have gone on to perform in school bands / jazz bands and/or professionally. In all cases, they acquire a skill that will last for a lifetime and provide joy, enrichment, and satisfaction.

Do you have a song or two in your heart? Contact me today and I will help you reach your musical goals and have a very good time doing it!

Overall, he's a fantastic teacher! My daughter always comes out of lessons with a smile on her face. He's inspired her to work hard and go from 10 minutes a day of practicing-- what her beginning band teacher prescribed, to 30 minutes to an hour. Kayla and I are both very thankful for the quality of his lessons as well as the motivation he gives her! Thank you!

Kyle gave me a few lessons during my college woodwinds methods class on the sax. As a pianist attempting to learn a wind instrument Kyle's advice and time were a HUGE help to a total beginner like myself. He definitely knows the sax inside and out and without his help my sax test grades in woodwinds would have been considerably lower than what they were. I definitely encourage any students looking for a sax teacher to choose Kyle because of his extensive knowledge on the instrument and approachable nature.

Do you want to have fun? AND learn piano? Then I am the piano teacher for YOU! I've learned tricks of the trade, secrets of playing (that I'll only share with my students) and have lots of great ideas of how to help you achieve your goals.

The process of learning to play piano, or continuing to improve your skills, can be just as much fun as the end result!

We've all read how good for the brain playing piano is...using left and right sides...concrete and abstract...but let's not forget the FUN factor! I'm lucky to be able to do what I do and I can help you be so lucky, too!

I took piano lessons for 19 years and can play (and teach) classical, pop, rock, jazz, theory and composition. I've been teaching piano to students from 3 years old to 85 and they've all enjoyed themselves.

I've also had quite a bit of experience in teach
ing people with a variety of special needs. There is so much benefit to learning and playing the piano for all of us, but you can only imagine how great it is for people who have special needs.

Teaching piano is my passion and I'm excited to share it with everyone.

I started lessons with Candy in early elementary school and continued through high school. The skills I learned in piano lessons were foundational for all my music skills as I later learned to play the flute, and majored in voice in college. After 13 years as a professional music educator myself I know that the skills learned at Candy’s piano, both musical skills and teaching technique were formative for me professionally and personally. She is positive, patient, encouraging and committed to determining the learning styles of her student. Given the option, I would give her more than 5 stars.

Candy is sweet as sweet can be! She has always been so patient with my daughter who has some physical limitations as well as sensory issues. When time came for the recital, Candy gave her the confidence she needed to get up and play in front of all those people. My daughter won't ever play piano with me she, but always enjoys going to play with Miss Candy!

Over the almost three years that I have been taking lessons with Candy, I have learned many new things about playing piano. She always makes it a positive experience and not only has me play the songs from the book, but also lets me learn some songs that I choose. Also, she is funny and always makes me laugh. Overall I would rate Candy 5 stars without question.

About Sarah
I'm an upcoming freshman in a college of music with my principal instrument in voice but I also play piano, guitar, ukulele, and saxophone! I have been studying voice for 10 years and piano for 6, I have a base in classical training for voice but have expanded more recently towards contemporary styles of singing.

I currently perform in 3 bands locally and have a passion for live music. I believe that music can be one of the most amazing forms of expression that a person can have and love to have been a part of someone else's musical journey! I love to teach music theory as a way to open up the possibilities of self expression through playing and/or singing!

Students of voice can expect to go through a warm up routine at the beginning of a lesson before going into full musical pieces, these can include any genre and can be songs that yo
u choose and bring in or songs that I can provide from my library.

Students of piano can expect a more technique based approach going more by some piano technique books which will then expand into figuring out and playing songs that you hear on the radio!

I firmly believe that music is a wonderful gift and I hope that I get to be a part of your unique musical journey and help you become the best musician you can possibly be!
