Gabriel F. Marietta, GA

About Gabriel

Gabe has been playing the drums for twenty years and has been teaching students for about twelve years. In that time he has played with numerous live acts as well as studio work. His experience mostly lies in jazz, funk, blues, latin, and rock. As much as he loves playing these styles he loves to teach them. Gabe's music education began in grammar school and continued through high school. In college he earned a non-music bachelor's degree but never stopped studying the drums. With the help of his own private instructors and continued playing experience, he now considers himself a self-taught musician and uses this experience to show his students how to do the same. His students can expect a challenging curriculum that will make them better players no matter what style of music ...

Great Instructor

Gabe is a great instructor who is extremely knowledgeable in all facets of the drum and drumming. I am an older student who has started lessons after a very long layoff from the drums….way back to elementary school days. Gabe is extremely patient as we have gone back and started with the very basics. I would highly recommend Gabe to anyone interested in studying the drums at any level.

Outstanding student instructor!

Gabe has been a phenomenal drum instructor for our 10-year old nephew! He blends the perfect balance of discipline on fundamentals with fun rhythms that keep our nephew interested but focused. We've seen great progress in his development just in the first two months. Gabe is very patient, yet firm, in his style and his skill level is amazing, so his qualifications are certainly exceeded.

Overall, we would highly recommend Gabe for student instruction!

Great Teacher!

Gabe is an awesome teacher. Very laid back, but also knows his stuff and supplies plenty of good practice material to help improve your skills. Seems to be familiar with teaching all different kinds of styles and has no problem adjusting the lessons to suit the needs of the student.

Rich obviously knows what he is doing. I have three children taking lessons from him and he quickly found their strengths and weaknesses and started from there. Just a few lessons in and the kids are loving it.

Rich is an excellent music teacher! He is patient and understanding of the needs of the student. He has developed a good rapport with our grandson who is learning to play the piano. We like the fact that he teaches him to read the music as well as learning the keys on the piano. We would totally recommend him for anyone who is wanting to take up music. Rich is truly amazing!!!!

Amy is a GREAT teacher who works with any issues and can pin point ones you are not aware of while learning. I highly recommend her for lessons. As a female, it is easy to get intimidated by male instructors who do not have the patience to deal with the woman, Amy has that gift.

She encourages and gives detailed instuctions and is genourous with her time. And plays guitar very well at a level I could only dream of. She helped me remember a song I knew. And taught me different ways to play songs that I already know.

I found Aimee through TakeLessons after not being very satisfied with my daughter's previous guitar teacher. From my first conversation with Aimee, I knew choosing her was going to be the right decision. Her experience and expertise shows as she knows how to teach and is good at it. My wife and I feel blessed to have found Aimee and that she is our daughter's teacher now. We are planning to have her start teaching our youngest son piano.
Atria E. Kennesaw, GA

About Atria

I have a B.S. in Music Engineering, but I am well knowledgeable in other subjects especially math. I have taking all math including basic courses, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Calculus I & II, and excelled in all of them. I also have talent in Painting and drawing, where any age group is accepted. I can definitely teach music theory along with beginner's piano. I firmly support my personal slogan, "Teaching to learn loving to teach", because ultimately that's the meaning of teaching. Teaching is essentially for the student to learn the material, but at the same time the student is teaching me patience and joy. I base my teaching method on my strong enthusiastic, optimistic, patient, and loving character. I make sure the student feels comfortable and take any amount of time until they ...

Atria is very friendly and encouraging. I am not the most confident performer and had no experience with rapping, but after taking only 2 lessons with Atria my confidence has skyrocketed. I didn't know I had it in me, but Atria helped me realize my potential as a musician.
