Mr. Jared Leach has been my instructor for almost a year and a half in Cartersville, GA. I'm an "older" student at 56-yrs who's been on/off with the instrument (guitar) over the years and Jared has met/exceeded my expectations for formal music instruction. Looking back over these past 18 months - Upon initial instruction, Jared does a fairly good skill assessment and works with the student ("me") to remediate their weaknesses and builds on their strengths AND (most importantly) provide a study/training routine that rewards the student while at the same time keep them out of their comfort zone and growing as a musician. His diverse musical interest and taste in many genera of music is impressive and rubs off on the student. His passion is contagious so one must be ready to work, have fun at it and - before you know it - you're making music !!!

As a beginner, adult mandolin student, I was very pleased with James' laid back approach to helping me get started. He was extremely flexible in lesson scheduling, consistent in communicating about availability, and a great teacher, giving me appropriate-sized "homework" to help me grow in my skills.
I'd definitely recommend him for anyone just starting out, or wanting to grow in their skills!

Lars N.

Atlanta, GA

About Lars

Hey...my name is Lars and I am looking forward in teaching you guitar. I've been teaching guitar for about 5 years. I fully believe that anybody can learn to play well, if they work hard, stick with it and has the passion for it. Because I did. It took a lot of work for me and did not come easy. It's never easy, nor should it be, because a person is learning something real and not just pushing buttons. But the rewards of getting better are fantastic, a sense of accomplishment and confidence is being built as a result of that hard work. And of course it's really fun and in my opinion the best t
hing in the world.
