About Paul
Paul M is an American born, New York-based Piano teacher, Vocal coach, Pianist, Composer and Artist. As an educator, Paul is part of The Suffolk Piano Teachers Forum, College Music Society and Music Teachers National. He has been an Adjunct-instructor at New York University (NYU). Paul also conducts master classes and seminars in The United states and South America. For the past few years, he has implemented classes in composition and music history in the coastal area of Ecuador and New York. His music studio in New York City is in high demand. He works with piano, composition and vocal performance students of all levels and styles, which include classical, jazz, blues, Tango, and Broadway. As a Pianist, In 2006 Paul was a prizewinner at the Music Club of Douglaston Piano Competition. For two consecutive years, Paul was awarded The Suffolk County Piano Forum Prize. XLNT Music recently wrote, “Paul is a fine pianist that performs with superb pianism and great sensitivity.”
 His recent public performances include Ecuador South America, Steinway Hall NYC, The United Nations, Faust Harrison Hall, Saint Peters NYC and The Staller Center. Paul has performed with The Stony Brook Symphony Orchestra and The New York University Symphony Orchestra. He has studied with well-known piano teachers including: Martin Canin, Morey Ritt, Tina Dahl, and Anita Gelber. In 2011 he released a record consisting of his performance of original compositions for solo piano that is available in bookstores and on iTunes.
As a composer Paul has composed music for the feature film Documentary Between the Shades, directed by Jill Salvino and premiered at the Soho International Film Festival in 2017. In 2014, Paul was the composer for the radio show Ackerman Associates Meets Dracula written and directed by Peter Stass. In 2014 he wrote the score for, Lies People Tell, a short film that premiered at the san pedro film festival. In 2011, he released his first solo record Succession of images, a song cycle for solo piano. In 2017, he released his second record Hope, a chamber music work recorded with clarinetist Thomas Piercy and Violinist Patrisa Tomassini. Recent public piano performances of his music include Ecuador in South America, Steinway Hall NYC, The United Nations, Spectrum NYC, Faust Harrison Hall, Saint Peters in NYC and The Staller Center in Stony Brook NY.

As an artist, Paul is known for creating large instillations, paintings and live performing art pieces. From 2014-2016, he was the artist in residence at Spectrum Gallery in NYC. In 2014, he completed the Elevator Time Machine, a large instillation made of elevator parts that responds to sound. He also wrote and produced a 20 minute live art piece called Static in Movement for piano and video. His acrylic on canvas works have also been presented at Spectrum NYC, The Art Bar, The Gallery at Logos and Ward-Nasse gallery.

I am also a composition teacher. I work with composition students from beginner to advance. My composition students, over the years, range from all ages starting at 7. My students, after the first year, have been able to write string quartets and piano trios. My advanced students have entered competitions all over the country and are very successful in their composition practice. Some of their compositions have been performed in famous concert halls and schools.
As a vocal coach, I work with students of all ages. The repertoire that I recommend to beginner students includes Disney, Broadway and classical music. For intermediate and advanced vocal student, I have successfully prepared them for competitions, Broadway and University auditions as well as personal enjoyment.
Most recently I held a piano, composition and vocal recital for my students at the world famous Steinway Hall in New York City. I believe that some students work better when there is motivation for performance activities. For that reason I host these type of events. Students that decide they want to take place in these events perform among all levels. I offer these performance opportunities as an invitation. Each student has a choice as to whether they would like to perform.

Hello, I'm Natalie, and I am a soprano. I enjoy performing as a soloist, chamber singer, and professional chorister in the Pacific Northwest, Midwest, and Italy. I taught private voice lessons to middle school and high school students at an independent school, as well as free-lance lessons with adult singers, for my last three years in Chicago leading up to my move to Seattle recently. I also became a certified teacher in Illinois in music for K-12, including general music, band, orchestra, and chorus, which is what I used to do full time before deciding to balance my career more evenly between teaching and performing.

I am an adult who has no experience with any type of instrument and was very nervous and intimidated at first. Then I met with Michael, and though there was a ton of information we had to go through, he really made me feel at ease. What will I learn in my lessons?
You will lea
rn how to care for, and properly play your instrument. We will start with basic exercises and drills, and move into more advanced techniques as you progress in your skill sets.

What if I'm a beginner?
Totally fine! I teach all levels beginning through professional. The voice is an instrument just like any other instrument and must be learned in the same manner, from the beginning!

Can I try the first class Free?
No, but you will get a FREE lesson on your birthday and for each friend you refer that purchases a 5-pack of lessons.

What is your teaching style?
I am more than your voice teacher. I am your coach, your friend, your, mentor and peer. You are your voice, and in order for me to properly teach, you have to trust me. We will build a rapport as you grow your instrument in confidence, strength and flexibility.

Are there added bonuses to taking singing lessons?!
Yes! Proper breathing is a guaranteed ab workout, singing can improve your speaking voice, and you'll have a better sense of self understanding by learning how to better control your instrument. Not to mention all the unplanned karaoke you can take part in!

A little more about the teacher:
I've been a singer since as long as I can remember. I never wanted anything else. I started as a beginner by imitating my favorite artists. I performed a lot as a child, and stopped performing for a while in my teen years due to stage fright and the such. During that time I started songwriting and recording, I studied music in college, graduated and started performing again as a solo artist. I joined a few bands, they all broke up. I licked my wounds and now I'm a happy, recording, performing, songwriting, teaching, voice-over, and producing vocalist.

About Andrew
I am a professionally trained vocalist and have been singing for over 15 years. I attended school at Brigham Young University studying vocal music and music education. I am currently working as the Choral Director at Herriman High School and have previously taught private lessons and taught as the Music Teacher at Utah International Charter School.

I studied primarily classical voice but that created a strong foundation to sing all genres of music including pop, broadway, etc. I have performed in many musical theatre productions and operas as well as performed as a soloist for a variety of occasions. I also currently sing with Cantorum Chamber Singers, a group that performs a wide variety of music for many diverse audiences.

I have a strong foundation of music theory and music composition and can help fortify that area of music as w
ell as you ear training and sight reading on any instrument. I have arranged and composed many pieces both for soloist and choral groups.

I am a energetic instructor and will do everything I can to help you improve in the areas that you would like and make sure that you achieve your musical goals.

I am a musician, but have never been able to sing. I took basic voice lessons from Andrew for several months and would have continued except for a move. He helped me gain confidence in my singing voice and strengthen it by vocal exercises. He creates a comfortable atmosphere.

I am a fully qualified Music teacher in the United Kingdom and the United States. I have an undergraduate degree from Royal Holloway, University of London in Music and Psychology, with focuses on vocal performance and developmental psychology. I attended the prestigious Institute of Education for Post Graduate Certification in Education. Since then I have worked in schools in London and Chicago, and am fully capable of teaching all ages and levels of experience. My primary instruments are voice and piano, but I am also very competent at the flute, guitar, ukulele, and recorder. I have a full enough understanding of most other instruments to teach them at a beginning level.
